Craftsman 8 oz Small Hammer, Claw Hammer for Junior Kids

This is an excellent hammer for a junior child just as detailed in photos and item description. Another reviewer recently noted that it was not suitable for a 2.5 year old child. Please note that the hammer is clearly engraved "Ages 8 and up." Had that individual read the specs carefully, they might not have been inclined to purchase it for a 2.5 year old and then leave a bad review. This is perfect for our 6 year old daughter.

My hands are kind of small (about 3" across the knuckles) so this hammer fits me great. My son, who has much larger hands, does not like it. I use it all the time. Well made and well balanced.

I have carpel tunnel plus in both wrists, but I enjoy doing handy things around the house. A full-sized hammer was just too unweildy and resulted in wrist pain. This is PERFECT. Thank you for giving me my independence back! Now I don't have to call one of my teenagers or my husband to do the hammering for me. Excellent quality, as expected.

This is great for hanging art and frames because it is so small and it can fit in your pocket. I know it's for kids, but it's a great tool to have in your junk drawer because hammers have so many uses but you don't want to always go out and get your big hammer. This is a great alternative from a great brand name.

perfect size for the young ones and even women

I guess this is marketed towards children but I needed a stubby hammer for small projects in my shop and this was the best solution. Craftsman awesome quality as usual!

Handy to hold and use. I got one for my kitchen drawer but my husband liked it so much he took it to keep in his work truck and I had to order a second one
