It does work for pain. I like Blue-Emu better. I have arthritus in my hands so its easy to touch my face- which stings. I do use it before bed on arthritus in my ankles and neck so its no problem because I don't touch my face with my feet (LOL)

We keep this in our home as my husband has bad lower back, neck and shoulder pain. It helps every time. You won’t be disssappointed.
