What a beautiful story full of heart and lovable characters.Ava, a 27yo baker, is “rescued” after an argument with her neighbor by Gunner, president of the Devil’s Angels MC. To be fair, she didn’t really need rescuing but I like that he stepped up when he saw she was uncomfortable. He definitely earned points from that.I really liked all characters and especially the pets. They brightened the story and were so much fun. Mac is a star and Loki is a hero. The guys were so welcoming and I really liked that they were on the “cleaner” side of MC life. It made it possible to really focus on Ava and Gunner’s relationship.Ava was so strong (physically and mentally) despite a rocky start in life. She didn’t judge and kept a level-head in most situation. I was just rooting for her from the beginning. Gunner did a few mistakes but they managed to work it all out in a believable way.Full of laughter, banter and suspense in the midst of a lovely love story, this book was such a pleasant surprise. My first by this author but definitely not my last !

This book was simply amazing! It took you through every emotion possible and you couldn't help but fall deeply in love with the characters of this story. There are some serious laugh out loud moments as well throughout the book that certainly help off set some of the darker moments throughout. This book is wonderfully written and flows perfectly, nothing in the story is left unanswered and justice is perfectly served. You end the book with a huge smile throughly excited to read book two.

Wasn't expecting to enjoy the book as much as I did. I loved the relationships between ava and the guys. The humour and emotions were perfectly written. WE LOVE CHUBS ❤️

Well I picked this book up because it was on my recommended for you section in Kindle Unlimited and it is my first book of 2020.I laughed so hard when my husband came home from work at 1am he asked why I was chuckling and in tears. I don't think I have laughed this much at a book that wasn't a comedy fiction or Monty Python autobiography.This is the story of the Devil's Angels Prez - Gunner and the lovely Ava who is the owner of Sweet Angel Treats Bakery. Ava has just moved to the area and hasn't gotten to know her neighbours yet. As it happens one of the neighbours is in the Devil's Angels but has recently broken his leg (Petey). Gunner asks Ava if she would look out for him and well the story goes from their. Expect a dog called Loki, a cat called Duffy, a miniature Pig called Gee and a Macaw called Mac. Mac is a bird with attitude and is seriously funny character.I am off to try and read the other 2 books in this series today as it really has made a great start to my Hogmanay as I saw it in with a hot choc, a damn good book and a smile on my lips.

Humorous and suspense filled with edgy topics, that give you all the feels. One of my favourite MC crews, and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
