Price is right!
For a cheap diamond stone, these work well. You can spend a bit more and get better stones, but these are fine and will last you a year or two if youre using these in a woodshop.

Easy to use, in a variety of ways
I found these of good to high quality. Easy to use and a good size for almost everything. The 400, 600, 1000 grit work perfectly. Strangely, the 1200 grit acts rougher when it should be the smoothest. I don't know if it is mislabeled, a defect, or just have high spots. if it doesn't flatten out I will rub a sharpening stone over it lightly, then I'll know.

Makes sharpening anything with an edge super easy!
Easy to use when you need to sharpen anything with an edge! Great to have in my tool shop when I need to touch something up

good value for the money
These diamond plates shipped and arrived quickly, no issues. The plates are thin so a sturdy flat surface is a must to rest these plates on when sharpening. Because they are thin, it's nearly impossible to butt the plate against something thinner to prevent from slipping forward when sharpening. But at this price, it is as expected. Hope this helps.

Pretty good except for slight cupping in one
I bought these diamond stones to use primarily in the wood shop for hand planes and chisels. Before I set them up in the shop I took the opportunity to break them in by sharpening a handful of my pocket knives that had been badly neglected. For these tough and hard used tools, these stones worked great. I was able to quickly reprofile edges that had been chipped and get my pocket knives into good shape relatively easy. However, when I went to set up a new hand plane and sharpen the iron I noticed a problem. The scratch pattern on the bevel was not even across the iron when using the 1000 stone. The center was getting more wear than the edges. First thought was my technique as I’m pretty new to woodworking and not as comfortable as I am with sharpening kitchen or pocket knives. I finally put a straight edge across the width of the plate and found it to be cupped ever so slightly at the center. On just the 1000 stone, the center sits probably 1/32” higher than the edges. The other three are fine. That’s a real bummer because the 1000 is my go to for most maintenance sharpening. For the hard use and borderline abuse I put my pocket knives through, these diamond plates are more than good enough. But for my woodworking tools that demand a higher tolerance, these aren’t going to cut it.I was a little skeptical of these with the thin plate and foam backing, but the price can’t be beat. For jobs requiring absolutely flat plates, I broke down and bought the expensive DMT diamond stones. I’ll still probably use these ones for less sensitive jobs.

Good quality
They work well. The review form asked about "accuracy". I couldn't tell you how accurately flat these are, or if the grit is on spec. But they're handy and do the job. Some reviewers mention that these stones wear out fast. To those people I say "you're pressing way too hard, let the tool do the work". I'm sure mine will wear out eventually, but I've been using them for some time now with no deterioration. I'd say they're worth the price, and if you're particular about sharpness of your tools you will achieve it with this set.

Just Got these today
These are cheap. i don't know much about sharpening or diamond stones but these where cheap and i needed something that would allow me to get started rehabbing some tools i had. they are thin but work fine for what i wanted them for and that was to get me going. i may buy better quality stones later when i know more but for the price I say they are working like a charm for a beginner like me. if you are too well you make that choice but i give them 5 stars for what they are.

Fantastic value and performance!
I've started woodworking with traditional tools and have needed to do tons of sharpening chisels and plane irons. These plates have been at the center of my sharpening and I've spent days honing the blades. These plates have been reliable, give a fantastic edge, and have kept their honing ability. The cost is low and it's been a fantastic addition to my shop! I highly recommend these plates!
