Ulu 2.0
Wicked little piece of steel. BUT. If you've got big, pudgy mitts like me, you may find the narrow end of this just a bit too small for your hand. My wife has adopted it and LOVES it. It's basically a modern take on an Inuit Ulu, and is a killer blade for all sorts of chopping, scraping, and small, fiddly work chores. And it comes intimidating sharp.

Incredible
I was skeptical when buying it. Wasn't sure if I would like it or not. But watch the review on YouTube. This blade is awesome! Very rugged. Feels good in the hand. A little heavier than I was expecting, which is actually a good thing for me. You can't really notice it when it's in your belt or in a picked because it's so slim. I highly recommend this to any outdoorsman. Very handy versatile tool.

Super Sharp Cuts Like Butter!
Bought this for the kitchen first. If we like it there we plan on taking it outside for camping. The wife was terrified of this, so we got special gloves for when she uses it. Now she loves it as it cuts through meat like butter and is easier to use than a handled knife. It's great for all kinds of purposes.

Interesting little survival tool, not a bad buy
So after reading other reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. The blade came more than sharp enough to do the job and it is a sneaky little bastard that will bite you as soon as you forget to respect it. The fit and finish could be better, the interior edges were a little rough but I planned on rounding them out with a Dremel anyway because I expected sharp corners at this price point. Since I like to customize my stuff, the first thing I did was re-do the handle with a Strider wrap and it has made the tool much more comfortable to hold, as soon as the cuts I gave myself heal... sneaky little bastard. Two complaints from other reviewers that I didn't experience:1.) I didn't find the tool to be "too light", I bought it as a lightweight back-up for my back-up, to add redundancy to one of my kits. It wouldn't make much of a chopper anyway unless you like skinned knuckles. At any rate, the design makes any catastrophic failure very unlikely no matter what you do with it, knuckles or no knuckles.2.) Made in China: I didn't notice it marked anywhere and I don't really have an axe to grind on this subject so for my purposes it is kind of a non-issue. It would be nice to know what steel the tool is made out of though. I know some reviewers have posted it as a 5Cr or a 7Cr, I wouldn't mind knowing because it can effect the kind of maintenance you should do, but with this design you can sacrifice some toughness and use a more stainless steel.Minus a star for some lazy QA, otherwise worth the purchase.

Grade A and many uses!
Love the design and can be used for many things just need a little imagination and know how of using the Para-cord to tie it on thing great for making small pieces of wood for a fire or cutting tree's down I use it for many things and it keeps its edge really well never had to sharpen it yet! Top notch piece of hardware! next going to try using it to de-skin animal hide scrapping! This little Blade has many uses!

Use it for so much more than survival!
Fantastic all around tool! Used in my kitchen every day by myself and the wifey. Used on my recent deer harvest, and the buckskin peeled off like a coat. Made processing my deer so easy. VERY SHARP!

Very sharp tool.
The Farsome Blade is kinda neat, more of a novelty. I was disappointed in its size, I know it has measurements in the description, but it is very tight in closed fist. Limiting my ability get a good grip made it very dangerous. I removed the paracord handel, so I could try some of the uses shown in the product video. I cut myself a few times removing cord, tying it to a stick, and batoning some thin wood. I had to cover the blade with tape to rewrap the handel, and it cut through my welding glove when I was pulling knots tight. So.. it's sharp, and it handled the tests without any problem or damage. I'm glad I got one. I think it's expensive for its size, and the nylon sheath.. well.. it's sucks. They offer a leather sheath, but it cost almost as much as the knife, and I'm hesitant to invest more in this. I hope to see a larger version, with a better sheath offered someday.

I hate unitaskers.
I hate unitaskers. I hate a tool that serves only one purpose. When I make a purchase I look at whatever it is and see if there are other things I can use it for. It isn't always the case, but I like to pick up things that meet multiple needs. This Farson Blade from Fremont Knives does just this. The features it has from using as a hand chopper to a flat blade for fleshing hides or being able to attach to a handle to use as an axe - this blade handles all these tasks and more. It's compact enough that it doesn't impact your kit either by weight or size. One of the best items I've purchased.
