I love love love this...just wish it was bigger.My favourite colour, the flashlight comes in handy and handle that can change positions is very innovative!!!

It's an attractive umbrella that opens and closes well (be sure to wrap the strap around the umbrella AND hold the button that opens and closes the canopy WHILE pushing it down to close). However, there seemed to be few positive remarks about the flashlight in the handle, and the flashlight on my umbrella doesn't work at all. I took out the plastic disc that was intended to keep the batteries from activating in shipping, I tried various configurations of the batteries, and nada. I don't know if it's the bulb or the batteries, or something else, and it's probably not worth the price of the batteries to try out a fresh set for the number of times I anticipate I would actually use the flashlight...but I wouldn't buy this umbrella just because of the flashlight. I bought this umbrella because I needed a smaller umbrella that would actually open and close, and this one does that very well.Edit: after an unknown magical event, the flashlight began working and it is a nice addition to an attractive and already useful umbrella. I would purchase it again.

Overall, I do like this umbrella. I think it will last much longer than cheaper ones I've bought in the past. I've gone through at least 2 umbrellas per year! Mostly, the ribs are the ones that break most often. I don't think that will happen here and I chose one with 10 ribs! The only thing that is so hard for me is actually closing the umbrella. It does collapse with the open/close click but the only way I can get the shaft closed is by putting it on the ground and pushing down on the handle.... not fun when you're trying to get in your car in pouring rain! I do like the reflective stripe and the flashlight at the end.

Purchased this umbrella for our trip to Lisbon. The umbrella was compact and comfortable and light weight for my bag. It’s durable and reliable but the best part was how pretty in came out in pictures on a dreary over cast day.

I am not strong enough to close the umbrella manually after opening it. And now it will neither open nor close at all. I really would like Amazon to mandate a 1 year guarantee from their sellers to avoid customer's frustration on wasting hard earned money on a shoddy product.. Just think how much profit that would generate!

havent used it in windy rain, looks like it's strong. but - very hard to fit back to the case....
