Works great. I have ordered these the last five years, they last for the season and that is all I need.

Just moved into our house that has this AprilAir system. I noticed water dripping out of the housing and onto the floor when it was running which looked as though it wasn't humidifying the air properly. I replaced the filter and that solved the issue entirely. My guess is the old filter was completely clogged and hadn't been changed in forever resulting the water running right off it and onto the floor. I didn't bother changing the water line but I held onto it in case a problem arises. Super easy maintnence item that fixed our problem!

I installed it myself quite easily. So far after 2 weeks seems to work without any issue. I gave this product 4/5 stars because I’m not sure of how long it will last and how easily it will clean when needed.

Maintenance Kit parts worked on my 20-year-old Model 768 which was not working this winter, no water flow. I found that the inline strainer was blocked. After removing the strainer and reassembled water was flowing when the solenoid valve was on. Ordered maintenance kit which included the inline strainer PN #4004. The part that I had the most difficulty replacing was the feed tube. The nozzle end would not go into the hole that anchor the nozzle to frame. I had to enlarge the hole in the frame using a 9/64 drill bit. The nozzle was able to rotate on the tubing, so I did not encounter any other problems with the tubing. The tubing orifice at the solenoid end was yellow. The enclosed card stated this was more efficient. I removed the frame from the return duct making it easier to remove the old feed tube and installing the new tube. Installation of kit took about 2 hours.
