So far I'm really liking the oil, but will have to follow-up in a couple months as items like this require more then a few weeks to really see results. As most of you reading this have probably already noticed, Barbary Fig is significantly more expensive then some other 'rich and luxurious' face oils, like argon. I can't say personally if the results are worth the price variance yet but I can say that the way Barbary sits, absorbs and feels on the skin is worth it! Don't get me wrong, I still love a good Argon oil and use it at night, but because it is heavier it sits on my skin leaving it looking and feeling heavy of oil - and personally this makes my face itch (not in an allergic reaction but rather the weight of it on my skin). Argon oil also stays on top of the skin and is slow to absorb, so you need to be careful not to get it on your furniture, clothing and bedding. Not true with Barbary Fig which is rich and soft but absorbs quickly. it leaves my skin with a nice glow, slightly dewy but not shiny or sticky. Frankly the way it absorbs and feels alone makes it worth the extra cost - to be able to leave the house after applying it. It does have a slight smell that honestly took me a few days to get used to it when i first put it on, but it's not strong or terrible - it took less then a minute after applying it before I didn't notice the smell anymore.

I spent one week barbary fig oil, feel more moisture than rosehip seed oil, and now I do not have other essence in the use of facial toner coated barbary fig oil to apply a cream, 40 years old, dry skin, live in the subtropical zone other effects unknown, but barbary fig oil features than rosehip seed oil, elizabetharden miracle oil stronger and more moisture, I have their names, color classes, dark circles, fine lines and puffiness aspects sad .......Only give four stars instead of giving five stars is because the other effects not seen so reserved, so I run out again when the repurchase with you that there is no improvement in their names, color classes, dark circles, fine lines and puffiness issues ofPure barbary fig oil: Efficacy:Deep moisturizing the skin, promote skin cell regeneration reorganization, repair collagen and elastic fibers. Can effectively prevent the formation of premature wrinkles, against skin aging. In fade fine lines, pigmentation, acne, stretch marks, neck lines, dark circles and bags under the terms, there is remarkable effect.

I have very oily skin. When I tried this product at first it felt nice, but after having it settle in I noticed that I broke out on my cheeks and forehead. I just stopped using it right away. This ins't the only product that I have tried either. I have also tried the Toner and the rosehip oil and I wasn't so satisfied either. It's been so hard to find a perfect moisturizer. I think i'm going to. Stop and just have my skin relax.

Absolutely brilliant! Got on to prickly pear oil via Christoph Robin shampoo and mask and the crazy good results, so wanted to try the pure oil. I put some on dry hair before bed, woke-up, washed my hair and it's amazingly soft, manageable and shiny. I also tried it on my rosacea-prone skin, the results after one night were fantastic. My skin is soft, glowing and healthy looking. This does not feel greasy or heavy, it just feels like what my skin and hair needs and it absorbs quickly, even in my oily areas (t-zone). The results happen in one application and I have never seen anything work like this before. Also, a tiny amount goes a very long way. Five drops does my face, neck and chest. - I'm in my 40's with fine hair and combination skin type. Give it a try, you'll be glad you did.

This was very pricey for something that did not work. I wasn't familiar with this product so I wasn't sure what to expect. To me, it smelled rancid. I use a lot of essential oils so I know what oil smells like when it's old & that's what it smelled like. I don't think it was the fig, It just smelled old. I gave it 2 stars because it was an oil & it did provide a moisturizing effect.

This product is no where near as moisturizing as I had hoped. My fine lines don't look any better then when I use cheaper products. I used it after a chemical peel and got very little relief. I went to my local health store and got some now brand argan oil to try because my face burned. I applied it after washing of the fig oil and yaaay! Not only did it soothe my skin but the fine lines around my eyes looked better immediately. I'm glad I didn't end up spending twice as much for the poppy austin argan oil I was going to order. I will not buy the fig oil again. I gave it 3 stars because it came quickly and I guess I'm hopeful it will do something. Feels good on my face normally like not after a peel but just doesn't help the fine lines like the atgan oil.

I've been using the Barbary Fig Oil for a little less than 30 days and I'm impressed with the quality. It has a pleasant scent and absorbs quickly into the skin leaving it hydrated without feeling greasy or looking shiny. I've used it under makeup and my makeup went on smoothly and lasted all day and I use it at night as a serum around my eyes and mouth. I alternate this with the Poppy Austin retinol cream and together with the eye serum and pure rose water I have a new day/night regimen (including a high SOF sun block). The texture and tone of my skin are smooth and bright and I believe it is even helping with my hyperpigmentation. I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase so far and highly recommend Poppy Austin products.
