60" Heat Resistant Thermal Silver Fabric by The Yard – Insulated Material for Ironing Board Covers, Heat Shields, and DIY Craft Projects

Great fabric to make the ironing mat for gifts.

I've bought a total of 4 yards of this cloth, in 2 yard batches. I love it. The silver sheen is nice, the fabric is smooth to the touch, it's easy to cut, and it's easy to glue. It does fray a bit when cut with scissors, but when I folded the edges over and glued them down, it looked very tidy. It glues well-- I had no trouble using wood glue on it to attach it to some wooden frames.

Perfect for my antique, extra long ironing board

I make potholders, and needed this type of material for them. It worked great. Easy to sew on, this material is on a thicker side, so it will be more durable than others Ive seen. I couldnt find this fabric where I am from since Joanns went out of business, so I am happy I found this. It is true to size, a true 1 yard, folded.

It was perfect for my craft project of making curling iron cases. The only downside, which I probably should have known, was it wrinkles very easily, and very deep wrinkles!

Exactly what I need for the extra large ironing board my husband made for me! The wide wide width is perfect and the fact I could order by the yard makes it easy to get enough to wrap around the whole board without skimping. The fabric is thick enough and should last a while. All of this for a price that won't wreck the budget!

I make large quilting ironing boards. This material is what I use to cover them along with an underlying layer of batting. Quilters like this design and material holds up well.
