Excellent Customer Service!
Well today, one and a half years into my 3 year warranty, I had to call customer service. I was assisted by the a gentleman named Mason. Once he verified my warranty he asked me questions concerning the problems and the performance of my NordicTrack. When he asked about the type of noise it was making I got on and placed my phone at the front bottom of the machine. He immediately said I needed a new motor. I was also having a problem with the belt not sitting evenly on the track. Mason said he would order the needed the parts, they will arrive in about seven days and that I would be contacted by the local repair contractor in three to five days to schedule my appointment which would include both of the problems discussed above plus routine maintenance. I am quite pleased! Extended warranties are not always a good purchase but this one definitely was. Thank you Mason! UPDATE: Ten days before the end of my warranty period I contacted NordicTrack and asked them for an annual maintenance check on my machine. There was no problem! They sent someone out, he serviced the machined it's just like new. This extended warranty was definitely worth the price.

Peace of mind
Purchased the warranty along side the treadmill, as a larger purchase it made sense. The treadmill has many features of the more expensive , higher end treadmills that are used by rehab programs. Easy to adjust both speed and incline. Most require you to stop, set off, lift the deck, and adjust the incline. This one you push the sensor and it adjusts immediately. Which is why I purchased mine. All the adjustments to speed and incline are quick and easy. The one touch controls are a wonderful addition. Being able to continue on a healthier path at home made more sense. I have been able to continue at my convenience, anytime. The extended warranty plan was a bargain for the peace of mind of having a yearly maintenance check and the knowledge that if something were needed, someone would come to me to take care of it. It was very competitively priced and considerably less expensive that any of the other aftermarket plans. I have found NordicTrack to have outstanding products and services. Very Impressed!

Best treadmill ever!
Over the years I have had several different brands of treadmills. The quality wasn't the same as a gym and I never ended up using my treadmill. I decided to make the investment and buy a real treadmill which is my Nordictrack. This machine is incredible! It has a large screen and I can pick anywhere in the world where I can workout and there is a personal trainer that coaches you as your on the treadmill. The treadmill will go up and down with the terrain on the monitor. The time spent on the treadmill goes by very fast and I get an incredible workout! I am never bored having the beautiful scenery and the trainer pushing me. Besides the quality of the treadmill, the excellent customer service along with taking out extended warranty was worth the money. I can't say enough good things about my treadmill!!! I would highly recommend it!!! Gene

All of sudden it is problem I have the machine in the garage after 3 years!
So I purchased a Nordic Track T6.5 S treadmill on 11/6/2016. I also purchased the assembly package and this 3 year super deluxe expanded maintenance package. The machine arrived as planed and actually earlier than my scheduled delivery time (thanks you Amazon) and the assembler arrived 1/2 hour into his window. I note this because my review is not about these things it strictly about this warranty. I should note I purchased this machine after my other treadmill's upper computer board and input interface went belly up and I could no longer get the machine to start. I have been in an intense workout routine for the last two months to lose weight and reverse the blood anomalies n my liver and blood sugar. I have had very good success with the plan I have worked. I figured I would lose no more than 3 workout days and would have this machine up and running thursday. After finishing his assembly the tech called me out to show me how to work the machine. When he hit start nothing happened. He showed me the number I needed to call about the issue. After a 20 minute call with service department at Nordic track they determined it was my drive motor was bad. They checked that the part was in stock and told me it would arrive in about 5 business days. They also implied that I was to fix the machine myself. I then told her I had bought this extended warranty that said parts and labor was covered 100% (which I thought should be anyway with the standard warranty since it arrived DOA) so I was then transferred to the warranty department. After a 30 minute wait on hold the connection was terminated (not by me I wasn't even touching my phone at the time it happened). So I called back and waited almost another 40 minutes until I spoke to person. When i found out that service man wasn't even going to be scheduled until the part arrived. When I asked how long after the arrival before the service call would happen I was told he did not know. So now I am adding 5-7 days for the part and who know how many more days for the service call. Assuming this is the only thing that is wrong then I am out another 2 weeks from the time my machine broke. I was expecting that the service call would happen in 3 days from my call and the tech would have the part. How wrong I was. If this how they treat a DOA machine how much worse will it be if there is a problem during the rest of the warranty when their incentive is to minimize the damage costs? It is obvious they have oversold these warranties based on my time on the phone with them. (My call after it was answered took less than 5 minutes) I would be vary wary in the future to purchase such a plan again. UPDATE: So I call to make my third and final service I am told until I move the treadmill into the house I cannot get it serviced. That is really funny because I have had the the treadmill serviced in the garage twice and repaired once and no one said a thing. Nothing! So nickle and dime me on my last service call. Reasonably Priced Treadmill that Delivers Results
I bought this treadmill because I decided to get serious about not gaining weight (and hopefully losing weight) over the winter months which has been a historic challenge. The thought of plowing through the snow to get to a gym was a huge deterrent, so I decided to finally take the plunge and by a home treadmill. I knew I wanted a treadmill that was gym quality, but did not want to spend thousands. I set a budget of up to $1,000 and based my research on that. As I live in a 2 bdr apartment, size and portability (it has wheels) were more prominent considerations than some other "bells and whistles" that treadmills tend to have. I finally settled on the NordicTrack T 6.5 S treadmill. It seemed to ultimately fit all the specs and requirements that I was looking for. I added assembly and maintenance plan as these did not push me over my budget. I have been able to lose 30 lbs. over the course of 6 mos, and I must credit the treadmill for being a huge part of this. I am very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend!

NordicTrack + Maintenance Plan
I purchased this treadmill and maintenance plan last year. I also used the 3rd party service that came to my home to build the machine as well. I have used the treadmill on average 5 days per week since the date of purchase. I walk at around 3.5-4.0mph for about 40minutes per day. I needed to use the maintenance plan in Oct 2019 to replace the motor as it was squeaking. They sent out a gentleman from out of state that coordinated with me and was able to meet at my home at a convenient time to install the new motor. He maintained a clean work environment and positive attitude throughout the repair. I recently put in another maintenance request today for cleaning, tightening, reset the track, and review parts to make sure treadmill continues in good working condition. I have lost about 30lbs through this journey and would have not been able to do it without the treadmill and especially the maintenance plan giving me peace of mind that any and all issues would be fixed. Thank you for giving me my health back.

Well worth the investment.
The extended warranty and maintenance plan is a very worthwhile expense and I used it in the past to maintain the equipment and repair items as will occur from time to time. Just the maintenance alone is worth the cost to have an experienced technician come to your home and replace worn parts from regular use. The same plan, that was offered with my previous treadmill, also restored my treadmill that had chronic console problems and was eventually replaced under the extended warranty. The technicians were very knowledgeable of the treadmill and completed the work in a timely manner. Scheduling maintenance and/or repair work was arranged by phone and typically was accomplished within a week to 10 days depending on the availability of the technicians in my locale. I'm very pleased with the service and warranty provided and highly recommend this plan as an invaluable addition to your equipment purchase.

UTS Extended Warranty is the best!
The folks who handled my extended warranty claim process were just outstanding. Worked initially with tech support and did a self-replace of a logic board that we agreed was the most likely culprit on our malfunctioning treadmill. Apparently, the board was not the only problem, which left the 10 inch LCD touch screen display as the only possible trouble source. I was informed that part was no longer available and was referred to a customer service specialist. He (Jordan) immediately offered a full replacement value credit ($1499.99) and a link to his website which allowed us to choose a Nordictrack Grand Tour Pro. The wife and I couldn't have been more pleased with the professionalism of the customer service and the quality of the replacement bike. Many thanks to all.
