Good Wire, brown wire is cream color
It’s a good wire, durable and built well. Most standard 18/8 thermostat wires come with a brown wire. Instead of a brown wire the color of this one is cream. While this might not be a big deal to some, it can be confusing to some HVAC techs who are used to seeing brown and mistake the cream for white. Which can lead to things being connected wrong, which can lead to other problems. Otherwise it’s a good purchase.

Wire is just as stated
Wire is good I just over did it I could have gone with a three conductor wire instead to wire my new damper install all well I just used them anyway they work just fine.

Quality thermostat wire
Bought this 5 conductor cable to replace the old 2 conductor cable for my boiler thermostat (wanted a "C" wire for my new thermostat). Cost a few dollars more than a 3 conductor cable would cost but figured just in case of future changes it made sense to buy the 5 wire cable. Seems like good quality and it did the job.

Just what I needed
Needed to re-route my existing thermostat to another location, while maintaining the location of the existing wiring for another device. This 18/8 wire did the trick and at a good price. Not much else to say, it functioned as intended.

Good quality for the price, just buy the 18/8
Purchased the 8-conductor version to replace an existing run of 18/5 due to needing a 6th wire for 2 stage heat. Do yourself a favor and just run the 18/8 if you need 5 wires or more...this will future proof the installation for equipment upgrades down the road. I fished this through using the old wire and it held up well.
