If you cut a small enough hole in the bag couplers are not needed. I have used them both ways.

Perfect for anyone who does Cupcakes a lot

If you do a lot of cupcakes this is the perfect little set! I was getting tired of having to buy my cupcake tips individually and only having 2 or 3 tips that were big enough to pipe cupcakes (sick of washing them over and over and over when doing multiple flavors). This was a great answer to my issues. They are quality and huge. Perfect for cupcakes

Huge, Perfect for Cupcakes!

Some reviews said these are the same size or only slightly larger than Wilton M1/A1 tips, but that is WRONG, these are pleasantly very huge! They are not twice as tall, but definitely twice the volume. You can see in the photos (M1 and A1 in front, Jumbo tips in back) that there is a clear size difference. They seem sturdy and easy to clean. I used them once so far and am just so pleased. Seriously exactly what I hoped for, huge! You can't go wrong with frosting cupcakes!

which looks really nice on cupcakes

Initially, I was thinking.......this is so expensive for some cupcake tips. But when I received them, I can see why.....it's because of the quality! The decorative tips were huge, bigger than what you see at the store, which looks really nice on cupcakes. Plus, the quality of these tips were superb! No rust, denting, staining, or imperfections noted. Still expensive on my end, but a great investment for my cupcake business!

Best value for money

They work amazingly, frosting comes out so beautifully. I wish I purchased them long time ago. It was so nice to receive these in a pretty box too. Small thing, but made it extra special.
