Replacement Backing Pad for Makita 150mm - Med Density - BO6030 BO6040 - P-34453 Eq

Replacement backing pad on my Makita sander this one fits really well as I sand down a lot of oak with my work, I thought I was going to buy a new sander when the backing pad disintegrated, couldn’t get one anywhere but Amazon save the day, fantastic quality and works perfectly well with the front pads definitely recommend it.

Thought I would give this a go as a non genuine (and much cheaper) replacement part for my makita orbital sander as reviews were ok. To be honest I will probably pay the extra for a genuine part in future. The solid plate seems pretty good but unfortunately the sanding discs don’t stay on the hook and loop well so fly off after relatively light use. This is not something that I had an issue with using the same discs on the original part. It is useable just not great.

Arrived quickly, and was easy to fit.

The media could not be loaded. Whilst the quality is good, the Makita original has a screw thread, which this does not. Instead it has fixing (with no instructions) possibly for a different model. I have ordered correct item off eBay for half the price.

The product ( sanding disc for Makita sander ) is perfect and less than 25% of the price Makita charges for identical item. Super fast delivery. Five stars all day long.
