I got this first gen Apple Pencil sleeve for my kid. My kid, being a kid, will drop his pencil quite often, or accidentally have the pencil go flying across the table onto the floor! The sleeve has prevented damage to his Apple Pencil, and the sleeve adds a tiny bit of thickness to the pencil so it makes it easier for my child to hold. The sleeve feels like silicone, so it is not slippery - a good thing if you have an Apple Pencil for your kid. The top of the sleeve also is a cap holder, and it works very well! I also did not have any issues shoving the pencil into the sleeve, and charging the pencil is just as easy too.

its so soft and nice to hold :) i love the tip protectors and how it keeps the whole pen safe!! i will be getting more its such a soft cute color and very comfortable!! Also very easy to hold while drawing i love it <3overall five stars!! very good buy :)

Only thing is I wished it fit the top of the pen without having to use the magnetic cap and the seams along the sides bug me. Fits well and doesn’t slide around and has a nice color.

I, like many, have dropped my pen and had the cap disappear. After paying $10 for a new cap, I bought this sleeve to make sure it doesn't happen again. I like the friction it provides and the tip protection. The cap is still easy to take on and off while in the holder. I am confident that this will protect my pen during any future falls.

Started to slide off pencil by itself after only having it for a short while.Soft on hands and makes it feel so different and like a real pen/pencil & helps make it easier to use for small things and words

It is a nice cover for the pen and tip but now the pen doesn't fit in my ipad case at all!!

Great for me, but it does make the apple pencil a bit heftier so not sure how that would pan out for people who are artists…I would recommend!

So I got a cheapy silicone sleeve on the cheapo site and it was crap. It kept sliding off. This one stays put, gives it some nice bulk, and no more losing their stupid little cap! I wish they came in funky prints and colors, I'd have them all. I highly recommend this.

A couple of things to be aware of with this product:1. Pulling the top cap off to reveal the prong for charging the pencil feels awkward. I feel like I’m stretching the silicone too far and I’m going to rip it. It also took off the metal ring that makes the cap magnetic. Nothing a teeny tiny dab of superglue won’t fix, having it come off shouldn’t have happened in the first place.2. The piece that attaches the charge adapter to the cable does not fit the new version of adapter (Lightning to USB-C). It only fits the old one (Lightning to Lightning).3. It’s fairly bulky, so maybe it’ll be good for someone who has big hands or a child who doesn’t have the mobility to hold thin pencils yet. Less hand cramping, I guess.
