Excellent UHD TV for a very reasonable price
picture quality is truly exceptional. As promised it is UHD. Sound quality to is good. Very thin body and easy to install. Samsung has truly amazed me with this product.

Picture Quality is excellent
I find that features are much improved fro my previous Samsung, with seamless integration of Netflix, Prime, DU Set top box and Apple TV... Basically eliminating most of the previous issues I had... Very Happy with TV,

Beautiful colors, rich feature set, horrible sound
Bought it to replace an older model which had a sudden death. Gorgeous beautiful colors, lots of apps, lots of connections, and an extra remote so everything you can ask for but the only downside is its horrible sound. Yes I know I can add a sound bar but I would expect the default TV sound to be of good quality. Thats the reason for 4 stars.

TV DAMAGED LESS THAN A YEAR
This TV has been with us 9 months only and the screen has problems already. We bought this TV as we thought the brand is great and reliable but not expecting it to be this way. Our older TVs are working better than this one, think before you buy.

Good but only works with wifi
You must connect it with wifi before doing anything. Doesn’t work with hotspot.

After a long period of researching all of the various options in order to replace an 15 year old Sony TV, I bought this TV on Amazon Prime Day and it has surpassed all expectations since it arrived a week ago. The picture quality is sublime, and the smart features have been easy to navigate through and super responsive. The minimalist smart controller is intuitive, but I can see why some people might get frustrated by the lack of number. Luckily, this TV came with a standard Samsung controller as well. It has a sleek design and with virtually all screen and a very flat back and feels well built, but the sleek design means that, with little space for speakers, the sound is compromised. No one should be surprised that sub-£500 TVs don't have amazing sound systems - I had already expected this through reading various reviews. I've ordered a Polk React soundbar, which will hopefully transform the sound as well. In summary, don't be put off by the mixed reviews. This is a brand new product for and I recommend checking out reviews on Kitele and Rtings of the TV for honest reviews. I did nearly opt for an LG equivalent, but at this price range, you won't find many TVs that deliver an all-round package than this.

Im a big fan of Samsung products, so went for a samsung tv. I opened up the box and it was perfect, no faults. But...then when it came to setting it up, it got stuck on Stage 4. So i kept on having to go through everything over and over. In the end i had to contact customer service and they got me to connect to the internet via the LAN cable...which solved the problem, weirdly. Doing all the other options and settings everything seemed fine. But...youre not given an option of homepage layout. This is a huge problem, if you dont have a tv license and im annoyed that this isnt stated anywhere about this. So, even though i didnt connect and aerial or even select live tv as an option or input, its done automatically... AND YOU CANT OPT OUT. Samsung has its own streaming channels. But some of the channels are 'live channels' which you need a tv license to view legally. But as soon as you switch on the tv, it goes straight to these channels and plays the programme on at that time. Meaning, many of us who just watch streaming services like netflix, etc, are now unintentionally illegally watching live tv. I found this out when i did some research into Samsung Tv Channels. Youre not given this information on your screen when setting up, or in the terms and conditions, in the paper manuals or even the product description! Ive had to put a fire tv stick on the tv so that im not accidentally watching live tv simply by turning on the tv! The other problem is that if you have the basic plan from netflix service subscription, the picture quality is unwatchable. I didnt have this problem on my old tv or even the tv in the bedroom. But fortunately, disney+ and amazon prime video have crystal clear picture quality. If you wanted to watch netflix properly, you have to upgrade your plan by about £9, meaning your monthly price goes from 6.99 to 15.99 a month. Yet another reason to yeet netflix! I had some problems connecting my jbl soundbar - it just wouldnt find it until the 5th attempt! Also one of the 2 remotes you're given is supposed to be solar panelled, but there isnt one. No solar panel to be found on it at all. Disappointing. Other than that, the tv is okay...but it shouldve been better.

MY USER EXPERIENCE FEEDBACK Delight of use: - Set up is super easy, simple and intuitive. Picture quality: - SPOT ON! really impressed, but seems this is what the value is based on. - Colour range is spectacular as you would expect for the price and brand. Sound quality: - I assume because it's a slim TV, there's not much space for OOMPH! This however was a bit of a surprise, when you spend a small fortune. I didn't expect to have to budget further for decent sound. I struggled to watch the first few things with the sound being really high on TREBLE with no BASE/depth A FEW THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND Speaker suggestion in description: - It would be nice to have a suggested SOUND SYSTEM to budget with your purchase. - Other than this point of frustration of having to cop out more cash for a more cinematic experience, keep in mind that there's no INPUT JACK for sound, so you would have to get a bluetooth set/soundbar. I still highly recommend this one, especially being a UX/UI Designer with a fine eye for colour detail and picking up on little things, I'm really happy with this purchase from a VISUAL perspective.

I have the TV two weeks, it is certainly growing on me. Initially I was disappointed with the sound and picture quality. However, after some slight adjustments in my room the sound has improved. There are 4-5 picture settings, but for me the "dynamic" setting is the only one I find acceptable. The standard setting is too dark, while the other settings seem more specialist, e.g. film mode (it has an unusual yellowish tinge). Two controls provided, standard and one for smart function (I haven't used it yet). The standard control is a bit fiddly, particularly the small buttons at the bottom (settings, information, play, pause etc). Netflix, Prime, Now, and general app interface all good, you can search and install apps like BT Sport. My biggest problem was the highly sensitive terrestrial TV reception. It didn't pick up many of the channels I had previously, and some which remained had patchy/poor reception. So, I had to call out an aerial technician (at my expense). The problem is now resolved, but consider this potential additional cost. At this stage, after initial problems, I'm happy with the TV, one star removed due to the problems mentioned above.

For the price this is a fine TV in almost every respect. It’s easy to set up, intuitive remote, good quality picture etc etc. BUT… sound is quite simply a joke. I’m old enough to remember tinny little transistor radio’s, and the sound from this tv is on a par with that. For me it’s not a deal breaker, it’s for my bedroom and I don’t need booming sound in there, but I feel most people will need a soundbar to enhance the appalling noise that comes out of this thing. The only other thing I would mention is the remote controls lack of numbered buttons. Not an issue for anyone using a sky remote to change channels, but if you use it “stand alone”, it’s a pain in the backside to simply change channels.
