Excellent for feeding our dog on a long road trip
We bought these for our little dog to eat while on a long road trip, in order to avoid lugging heavy cans around. They worked perfectly for that. Yes, they're a little pricey, but the convenience was worth it.

Dog likes it!
I have not tasted this myself but my dog really seems to enjoy it. I have purchased multiple times because he is a pretty picky eater but never has a problem eating this. He’s a small breed weighing roughly 8-9 lbs. the individual serving size is perfect, he can eat the whole thing without getting tummy issues which is nice.

A small dog's feast!
Merrick's whole line of Lil Plates is nirvana to my 14-pound pup. He can't eat his food fast enough. I'm reassured because he loves the taste and the food is wholesome and healthy--no grains, lots of meat--and comes in a good-sized portion for a small breed. Also, if your dog has any tooth issues, this is soft food that will satisfy and do no harm. The food is expensive. No doubt about it. But if you're willing to spend the money for a quality dog food, Itsy Bitsy Beef Stew--and its other Merrick cousins--are great choices. My vet totally approves.

Dog is happy
When boarded my dog won’t eat his dry food. Have kennel add to dry food and no more problems. I use at home occasionally as a treat.

Convenient and cost effective
I started out buying this item at a local pet store. However, I found that Amazon saves me 20-25% on purchases with Prime. I am also wheelchair bound, and it is so convenient to get the product at my door.

Finally!!
I finally found a dog food my mini schnauzer will eat! The little containers are a great value and perfect size for her. I was very impressed with the quality of the ingredients and she seems to like the taste. It always makes me feel good when I know she is eating healthy ingredients and no byproducts
