Just what I was looking for.
I am measurements 29 waist and 38 hips. (5'3", 137lbs). I went by size chart (size 5) and tried the Jockey Classic French Cut, Elance French Cut, and Comfies Cotton French Cut. The Comfies (mid rise) were my least favorite of the three and ran the smallest, and the leg bands dug uncomfortably in my inner thigh area- Might be a slightly different cut from the other two-Could possibly be nice if sizing up? The Classic and Elance are the same cut (high rise) but just have a different waistband styles. The Elance was not only slighty more comfy/relaxed in the waistband than the Classic, but I noticed the material was thicker in the Elance, while the Classic was pretty thing. Overall, I chose the Elance which provided me with full bottom coverage, high waist, and comfort. I love the wide leg openings (I am curvy) and the breathable cotton fabric. I will definitely be buying more of these!!

Not as stretchy but very flattering.
I only used to find these at Macy's, but I was not able find them again. I tried buying them from another store, but they were not the same. I was overjoyed to find I could get them from Amazon, and they are the exact cut and style I was looking for. The cotton is thinner but these fit just right.

FIRST, it said the parcel is coming on Wednesday, then Thursday, then Friday, then Saturday--none. Finally it arrived on Sunday. SECOND I have been buying Jockey size 5 for years from The Bay. There was consistency in size. Once The Bay closed I tried Amazon.ca. The size is totally different. Around the waste, the circumference is smaller by 5 inches; around the crotch, it is longer by 5 inches. It is a totally different, it is narrower and longer. Total waste of money. I do not have time or energy to return these two parcels.
