BIG RED T90203B Torin Hydraulic Welded Bottle Jack, 2 Ton (4,000 lb) Capacity, Red

I bought this 2 ton bottle jack to lift up my snow plow to slide into the front receiving hitch in my pickup truck. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and this is a very low cost jack. It has about a 6.5 inch lifting range from all the way down to all the way up which I need for this application. The minimum height is also <7 inches which allows me to get it below the receiver hitch height when it is under the plow. It works great for that. I have also used it for almost anything else you can use a jack for, including lifting the wheel on my pickup to change the tire. The unit says the minimum operating temperature for the jack hydraulic oil is -13F but I have used it at -20F with no problems. I live in northern Minnesota so haven't come anywhere near the max temp rating of 140F. I am very rough with it and even though the paint is scraped off in places, it has not rusted or degraded at all from what I can see.

Exactly what I wanted . I'm not doing wrench work on cars, I bought this for another reason. To break the beads on my trailer tires and garden tractor. Works perfect! Powerful enough to break beads yet small enough to get in and replace valve stems without getting in the way. Very happy!!

I think it was a decent purchase. I returned this item tho. Im disabled and it seemed it would be to difficult if I had a flat and wanted to try and jack up the car on the side of the road. Im trying to get something easier than the scizzor jacks that come with vehicles, as I have a honda CRV and thers no way Im able to use a scizzor jack by myself. I can use AAA but we do a lot of traveling in the mountains and just taking the precaution of , " you never know" so to speak. Theres not much space under my vehicle for me to place this jack safely is all. Otherwise, I was happily suprised at the quality for the price. I read other reviews that it was leaking fluid or crappy. Its worth the price. I mean youre not paying top dollar and you get what you pay for. I would buy it if I thought I could use it by myself. Decent price, equivalent quality, worked fine.
