These are terrible...fish will NOT go for this
These lures don't compare to the original in any way. While they look nice, the chemical/paint smell on them is absolutely terrible and can't be removed or hidden even with the strongest fish oil scents or sprays (trust me, I tried). The smell most likely is in the paint they used, and unless you're willing to completely strip them of the paint it's not even a guarantee the smell go away with it. Also, the "soft plastic" they use isn't very soft at all. Compared to the original, the action is terrible on these because the tail fin won't swim unless you're cranking these at a high speed due to the lack of elasticity in the plastic. I tested these in my pool, and If you're simply trying to hop it or slow drag it like a jig, there is zero action on the tail and they pull like a stiff, dead weight. The true test is when I fished a small pond with these vs. another dark sleeper I already had. The bass were crushing the true DS lure and I was getting bites every 3rd cast or so on it. When I switched to these, I got ZERO bites from fish, not even an exploratory nibble. The chemical smell and lack of action truly kill the effectiveness of an otherwise nice-looking and cheap lure. Avoid wasting your money on these... I guess you get what you pay for.

⚠️ DARK SLEEPER KNOCKOFFS. PLASTIC IS VERY STIFF AND BECAUSE THEY COME IN A PLASTIC BAG THE TAILS ARE BENT OUT OF SHAPE. THE HOOKS ARE MORE OR LESS VERY LIGHT WIRE.

Bait and Switch
I wasn’t paying attention when I ordered these. My search was for the Megabass Dark Sleeper and these came up. Wish I had noticed these were different brand or at least read reviews. Plastic is too hard. Hooks too thin.

Quality needs to be better.
These definitely are not the real mega bass dark sleepers. The tails were very stiff and did not kick at all. Still able to catch fish but you would jave to set hook very very hard due to stiffness of plastic.
