Screen Protector +Box Packaging with Original Music Player Apple iPod 4th Generation Touch (8GB-White)

Aug 24 update - Somehow I got it to work! One last time I tried connecting to itunes, it flashed, then left. I tried again and it worked! I've downloaded several books. The audio is very good for books, I can't speak to music quality. I think it got scared cuz I was about to do a return, and suddenly it acted the way I wanted it to. It's old technology so much slower to load and charge. And it still has some quirky things like hiding my library then showing it, but that could be operator error. It still beeps when plugging in, but I noticed the recent continual beep was due to usb not being all the way in. In summary, it meets my needs at about 1/2 the price of an ipod. And since Apple is discontinuing all things with ipod in name, I'm stocking up - I love them for my audiobooks!Aug 21 review - I just wanted to listen to audiobooks. I knew this was an older Ipod Touch, (I'd bought a latest version Ipod touch last year and liked it). I thought this could work for my traveling library. I've struggled for a couple hours and itunes doesn't recognize it, the synch button says it will resume when esperanza's iMac is available.... whatever that is. Libby said IOS is too old, so can't go that route. Plus when it is connected to power it beeps continually! Did I get a defective or is it just too old! I'd like to have it if I can make it work for my needs. Is help out there or do I return it? (I tried to use support but it said refer to Amazon, which can't support my issues.)

I bought this as a gift for someone. Packaging was good, not sure how the product works. Came with (1) screen protector.

I am super happy with this purchase, awesome price and got it overnight. However, It was a frustrating start to try to set this up, i almost returned it, but i didnt give up. With help from You Tube videos, Google, my cell phone, and laptop, I finally have all my music and apps synched up. The most difficult part was getting it to accept my apple id, it will let you create a new one, but i tried that too with no success. Eventually I was able to get my old apple id to work with it so i bought some more music from itunes store. So far everything i need it to do is working as it should. I've had 16gb and 32gb ipods in the past, gen 1 and 2, and a 1st gen ipad, so this one is now my newest Apple. I purchased this 8gb ipod solely to play music, i kept my expectations low. So far I have uploaded 241 songs and 2 games and i still have over 4gb of space left.I read all the other reviews before I made my purchase and even checked Ebay, and THIS seller has the BEST deal if you want brand new unopened factory sealed gen 4 ipod. This is not a refurb, and its less than 70.00, such a deal.Maybe I lucked out since all my other apple products are gen 1 and 2.... this Gen 4 with 6.0 ios is an upgrade from all my previous Apple devices, so therefore all the apps I have stored in my iTunes are compatible.I highly recommend this for those like me that already have an old apple account.I did have problems with the 2 step authentication that will require you to use another device, like a cell phone, to help you log it to this 4th gen ipod. I logged in to Apple from my phone to update all my info, then began the set up process. I kept getting "server error" messages, but i by-passed the set up request for my id and went into settings to be sure all updates were done. I had no problems getting wifi to work. And also was able to pair this device to my Bluetooth speaker. The camera works good (shown in pic)This comes with a screen protector (nice touch by the seller), but this ipod has that shiny back case that scratches really easy, so I found a cheap cover on Amazon for this, that also got delivered overnight. I look forward to using this for years to come. You Tube is very helpful, all told, set up took longer than any other device I've had, but it is an out-dated ios that is no longer supported, but I figured it out and you can too

The only negative is that i use it strictly for music in my car and the charge doesnt last as long as i like.

Was able to link it right to my iTunes account download playlist for my Halloween set up. Will also be awesome for the Christmas set up when I have that done. Product arrived quickly

My old iPod touch is showing its age, so I sprang for a refurb. I defy anyone to tell if it’s a refurb or a new one!It sounds great and has much more space for music and audiobooks than my old one.It came as advertised, in “like new” condition.Just love it, AND I paid under $80 for it!Wish I could find such a deal every day!

So this wouldn’t connect to Wi-Fi. I repackaged after trying for an hour. Seller then stated I didn’t return it even when I had video footage from my store packaging & UPS picking it up.
