LAUNCH INTO INTERIOR DESIGN: a beginner's guide to the industry

Very helpful book if you are starting out on your interior design journey, everything is well explained. Not everything will be of interest to you but I skipped those parts.

Good size and price

I really enjoyed this book! She provides excellent information on getting started with an Interior design Business! She shares a little bit of information from several categories such as the consultation, product selection & tips, the dressings aka area rugs, art, decor, etc... the process and getting out there. I found the marketing and business plan information very helpful. If you are looking at starting your own interior design career this is a great resource for you!

There are many books regarding the subject of Interior Design with pictures and designs and yet with little content. This flips everything I've seen on its head by sharing excellent easy to understand content with only your imagination to fill in the pictures. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to know more about the Interior design industry or that would like to finetune there already established practice. You will not only enjoy an excellent literary read but also walk away with a treasure trove of valuable information. Enjoy

Not finished reading yet, but so far I'm loving it.

After many years as a home owner and wishful renovator of said home, I have come to realize this book would have saved countless hours of challenge and frustration.Knowledge is such a time saver and this book is stocked full of it.Great information for a designer, student, contractor, supplier, or homeowner. This book provided excellent direction on where to start and how to move through the design process. I highly recommend this book for the beginner or anyone interested in design in their house. Whether they are doing the design and work themselves or hiring a designer. Lastly, what I learned from this book is to be prepared. Do your homework, work out all angles and feel good about your decisions.
