If you've found these on Amazon chances are you're part of the tribe and appreciate nice tools. I bought these for a precision firearms project after suffering with cheap punch sets from HF, made the job so much more enjoyable. With free shipping and no tax, these babies are worth every penny even if you only use them once or twice a year as I do. Compare the price on these shipped to your door after a few mouse clicks and shuffling from the couch to the fridge vs. driving around and then buying a not so nice set at a chain store, and well, these start making a lot of sense. The shafts are very nicely knurled and the punch tips are precisely squared off and sturdy. Punches feel nice in the hand and work well. You'd have to break a sweat to hurt one of these, I can see. I've bent my share of HF punches but that's not saying much. Also, I wanted to say I actually kinda like the plastic case despite some of the complaints in reviews below since it keeps the set together and upright and easy to spot and grab while working at a bench. I don't see what the big deal is, it's functional and simple. Only bummer is I have to lay the case down to fit in a drawer in my mechanic's box. I just picked up the brass set in the same sizes as this set from Amazon, I have no doubt they'll be as nice as these. Well worth the money for good tools. Buy once, cry once. Life's too short to drink cheap booze or buy cheap tools as my buddy Matt with Eight Fingers always says.

Fantastic quality. Have the look and feel of quality tools. I've had them for a few weeks now, and they have been well used. So far there's no sign of damage or peeking to the ends. Personally I don't mind paying a higher price for higher quality.
