DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM
We installed the Navigator CG-07 Aerodynamic Cargo Carrier per the instruction on top of our KIA Sorento. 4 hour into our road trip the Cargo Carrier Just ripped open on both sides. We where very lucky that all of our luggage did not end up all over the road. Very disappointed in this item and would not recommend it to anybody. It is not safe for travel on any Vehicle in my opinion. We just ended up putting all of our luggage in side the Vehicle with use and our 3 Grandkids not very comfortable at all for the rest of the trip. When we reached our destination we spent the additional money to buy a hard top Cargo Carrier for the trip back home.Navigator CG-07 Aerodynamic Waterproof Cargo Carrier- 15 Cubic Feet

Did the job........once.
The best thing about this item was that is arrived within 3 days of purchase. However, I would not recommend this item. I bought it to travel Memorial Day Weekend on interstates. The first problem is that the included straps alone can not be trusted to hold this on the top of the car, so you'll need to have ratchet straps to go with it. However the problem is that you can't over tighten the ratchet straps because you could collapse your car's roof or bend the cross beams. In addition to inadequate straps, the material was worn out and cracking by the end of the trip. It was also very windy when we were driving home which caused the carrier to flap. We eventually had to stop and take it off because it was just too loud. However, if you are making trips around town, or to a nearby town it might be worth looking into. But if you want to make trips on the interstate for more than 20 miles its best to save your $70 and invest in a hard shell carrier.

The carrier was fine, but the straps they had to attach it were not at all long enough. I didn't have time to discuss this or send it back so I went to Harbor Freight, got some tie downs and bungee cords and we made it from Northern California to Denver.

Performed great!
Got this one 4 years ago to travel from El Paso Tx. To Acapulco Mexico ( over 5,000 miles round trip) It did the job with no issues. As preventive meassure y run a couple of additional elastic straps accross it. got some rain and performed great. I'm getting ready to do the same route this Christmas

The worst product ever
I had it on my car roof, like where it shood be. And within 20 miles of my trip, the Cargo Carrier was ripping from the seems. Also, the wind cause the zipper to open. I know for a fact that zipper was zipper shut before I left my house.

Junk
I bought this for a vacation and what a mistake that was. While putting it on top of the SUV it ripped in several places. Mostly on the seams. I will now be purchasing a hard shell one.
