The surface of our fibreglass tub was permanently dirty. No amount of scrubbing would clean it. This bathtub mat changed everything! Out tub looks new again.Easy to install (even easier it there’s 2 people). I was able to reposition it it slightly but I wouldn’t advise too much adjusting, just draw a line where you want to start and stop. Pull back the paper backing as you go and lay it down. I finished off by sliding over it with socked feet.We use our tub daily for showers and after 3 weeks of twice daily use it still is in place. No lifting or curling.If there is a bit of dirty glue along the edge just gently rub it off. I totally recommend.

I was refurbishing an old Condo and had two bathrooms that have major stains in the tubs. No cleaning could get the rust off the tubs. Found these mats on AMAZON. Worked great, covered 80% of the floor of the tub, fairly easy to install.Sticky/tack is strong, so follow directions. Once you start putting it down it is stuck on good. You want to rub out air pockets as you place mat down, go slowly with install. I found unrolling it and laying it flat for a day before installing helped.

This was easy to install and now provides a safe showering experience. Clean the shower floor with cleaner and rinse, rinse, rinse. Then dry thoroughly. I then wiped the surface with alcohol and let dry. This last step was probably not needed. I used masking tape to roughly outline my application area. Then put down carefully. I then rubbed the whole applied mat surface with a 4” roller (like you would use on wall paper seams). Again, this step may not be necessary. We are very happy with this product. There are no problems after many showers.

I’ve tried grippy bath mats and little decals, but this is my preference for bathtub safety.Pros:- I was worried about it being too rough on my kids’ bottoms, but it isn't abrasive and makes the bath much less slippery.- It blends with the tub so has a very sleek look.Cons:- There was a little discoloration along the edges—maybe lint or dust? Didn’t go away after application, but doesn’t seem to impact function.- I had a hard time getting all of the bubbles out, but they’re not noticeable from a distance.

Not sure why this product has so many good reviews. It doesn’t prevent slipping at all.. it’s maybe a tiny bit less slippery than my tub with nothing. I have a two year old and she slipped many times on it before I decided to return. So disappointed because I was excited at the fact of no mold but looks like I’ll just have to go back to plastic suction mats, better safe than sorry.

I bought this and I’m sure I cleaned and dried my bathtub before putting this down and it worked wonders for the first month but then it started to pull up

The only issue I have with it is I wish it had a little more roughness or texture. The bottom of our bathtub is so super slippery. I have fallen once. We have tried various solutions and they all end up having issues like sliding around or coming up. This one goes on and stays on. The only places it is coming up is where I could not keep the tub dry as I was installing it. We have a leaky shower head. So there are a few spots where I accidentally let water get under it and it will not stick in those places. But where it was dry it stuck great. It is not as slippery now. But I still feel it could be just a bit more texture to reduce the slipperiness even more. It is not enough to reduce a stay though.
