Flat Bento Box Adult Lunch Box Leak Proof Microwavable Easy to Clean Insulated Lunch Bag Slim Meal Containers for Food Salad Portion Control

I've had this bento box for exactly 1 year. I just recently disposed of it because of poor care on my end. I figured I can re-purchase it. Sad news, it is not available. I am not sure why but this was the most functional, lightweight, and leak proof container I have ever purchased. I was in search for a bento box for several years. This bento box is easy to clean, it's bag has two pockets for any other snacks you'd like to carry and for the square freeze box thing. It is also slim but hold perfect portion sizes. I loved that it is not a bulky lunch pale with colors and patterns. So sad I can't buy a new one. It was definitely worth the price.

It's light weight and the size is just perfect! The most important point is this lunch box is totally leak proof! My daughter is 2 y.o so she still need help to open and close the lid, but I have no complain about opening or closing it. It's super easy! I love this and definitely will recommend to anyone who's looking for lunch box!

I've been using this bento box every day for about 2 months now and I love it. It was much less expensive than other bento boxes and keeps food cool all day (I also purchased the ice packs). It seals very well, keeping each compartment separate, which means my dry crispy food stays dry and crispy, even if I put liquid in another compartment. Plenty of room for food. I usually pack a sandwich or meat/cheese/crackers, some nuts, berries, and sometimes celery or carrot sticks. I have not tried microwaving food in this bento.Minus one star (1/2 star?) only because the lid seals so well, that sometimes it is hard to get off. Because of that, I wouldn't recommend this for children who might spill the contents while trying to get the lid off. Despite this, I would definitely recommend this product for adults.

I love this lunchbox because it’s slim and fits inside my Beis workbag and still leaves room for my two water bottles and everything else! I can fit a full, hearty meal in this lunchbox with no spills. If I know something will stain it, I just line it in plastic and quickly wash it out to alleviate any odors. If I have larger items, I just use the bag and not the container. This will fit a full size take out container of food. Worth every penny. The instructions tell you not to microwave the lid, and I’ve never put it in the dishwasher, I always hand wash.

I initially purchased this lunchbox because of the slim shape so that I could fit it in my backpack easily. The compartments allow me to separate different items and it fits enough food for a solid meal. The carrying bag is nice for putting an ice pack and utensils in and feels like a laptop case. It would be a 5-star lunchbox except that it has leaked on me many times. I would open my backpack and find both the insulated bag and my backpack is wet and smelly. Upon closer inspection, it looks like the interior rubber on the lid has begun to wear out but I've had issues with leakage since the beginning. I follow the directions for closing and am very careful to seal it well but still, the leakages happen.**UPDATE**I contacted Modetro and they addressed the leakage issue and provided great customer service. It could be that the particular one I received was not up to par. They were able to give me a partial refund.

Update 02-11-21 I have been using it for 2 weeks now, I do not put soup but I do put a liquidy red salsa in one of the smaller compartments, put it in the bag and then slide it vertically into my fancy computer finance office bag to head to the office. So far it has not leaked one single drop.Remember, follow the instructions on how to seal it, the clamps really only keep it from popping loose, you need to make sure you are sealing the edges before clamping, the instructions are very clear and very simple.Awesome product, I highly recommend!____Some college student wrote a very negative review on this about how they got it, filled it with curry, and now their bag and books are ruined. I am sure they were not an engineering student (I'm guessing liberal arts or political science) I received this and actually read the "Stop Important" paragraph (page 1) of the instructions on how you start in the center of the lid and move to the outer edges, then snap down the sides.I filled mine with water, sealed it, stood it on its side (narrow edge) on a white paper towel for a few hours, there was a tiny wet spot on the towel on one corner. I dried everything, made sure the lids was sealed all the way around instead of just assuming like I had before and after several hours no leaking.That said this is not a screw top thermos. If I was going to put a truly liquid fluid like soup in it I would not put it in my bag for hours, buy a screw top thermos. I plan to put moist food in it that would leave moisture on a plate but would not require a bowl and I want it to not leak while tossed around in my bag on my way to the office. For this I highly recommend it! It is a Tupperware Rubbermaid type lid, when you put it on it is sealed, it does not meet department of defense submarine standards for water tightness. IF you seal it correctly and then clamp down the sides it should hold any moist item fine. The lid seal is what prevents the leak not the clamps on the side, they just help keep it from popping loose. Used correctly it is a wonderful design and product. It will be used daily, if it changes at all, this review will be updated. I highly recommend it for its design, and quality.(I include this at the bottom of all my reviews) Also before writing a negative review for any product in here, try contacting the manufacturer first, you will often be surprised at how you got a lemon and how rare they are and that they will go out of their way to get you a good one. If their response is bad then write a detailed review for all of us.
