The part fits perfectly to my Maytag washer. It also works another name brands. Easy installation just watch a YouTube video. It shouldn’t take no more than 10, 15 minutes for insulation. It took me a little longer because I was cleaning as well.

The only thing I would mention is that there is an adapter that is already attached to the old one that you will need for the new one. Just unscrew it and attach to the new one. Don’t pay someone to do it for you. Take an hour or so out of your day, with tools you probably have, and you can YouTube how to do everything!

Maytag washer part replacement for W10787836. It was a quick remove and replace. The magnet activated reed switch went out inside the previous part. Symptoms were that washer wouldn't change settings when dial was turned and only beeped.

Not exact part as original but works and fits perfectly fine. Very easy to install. So glad I decided to order and fix myself. Everything works great! Would definitely recommend . Better than paying for a new washer

Easy to install. I was concerned when I ordered because it was shaped different than to original one on our Maytag. Arrived quickly and installed easily. Put it on a month ago and working exactly like the original.

Although the redesign by the manufacturer is deceptive and looks as though it's not going to fit properly it most certainly does and is a good value considering parts stores charge $82 to $110 for the same part
