As anyone who eats keto knows, while it is a fabulous way to lower blood sugar and lose weight, it is lacking in those delicious carb filled desserts. And sometimes you just want a piece of cake. This little mix is super easy, quick to stir up and produces a delicious single serving of chocolate cake. Only 1 minute in the microwave, a few minutes to cool and then dig in. I like to cover the top of my cake with a thin layer of Nekstella SF Chocolate Hazelnut spread as soon as it comes out of the microwave. It melts to a rich, chocolate "frosting". It makes a generously sized cake and the texture is that of a normal sugar filled cake. I love that it can be made in a microwave allowing me to pop a package in my lunch to enjoy at work or in my camper. Great texture, no weird taste, perfect sweetness, easy to make-what is not to love? And what a perfect solution to work functions or holiday get to-gathers. No more longing looks while others enjoy dessert, or worse yet succumbing to sugar filled dessert only to feel terrible a short time later. This mix has it all-great taste, simple preparation, quick cooking time and portability-all while staying keto. My only suggestion: it would be nice if the instructions were on each individual package instead of just an included instruction sheet. The bonus: the company is a delight to deal with and will promptly respond to an email.

They are so not great but satisfying at the sane time. They are very easy to make if you follow the directions. They look and have the texture of a kitchen sponge, don't believe the marketing pictures because they do not look appetizing after being "cooked" (microwaved). The taste is just good enough that I wanted to try the next flavor the next night, in hopes it would be at least a little better. The bottom portion is also the best because that's where all the melted butter stayed.

At first I was reluctant to try this because there are mixed reviews and that can be very confusing for me but I finally tried the cinnamon apple.As soon as I poured it in my mug I realized that I couldn’t smell the cinnamon so I got my own cinnamon and shook it into the mixture. I put it in the microwave for 1 minute and then I put a big scoop of plain whipped cream cheese on it!! Yum!I will but it again and some flavors appeal to me while others don’t.This one’s a winner but save some for my next order.

Taste is decent for sugar free. Not overly sweet or artificial tasting. Easy to make and doesn't stick to the mug. 350 cal per serving is a bit much though.... not much less than a regular mug cake.

I’m diabetic, and some sugar-free desserts are lacking. These mug makes are great! There is a slight after-taste, but they’re so yummy that it’s a tiny price to pay. We often top them with sugar-free whipped cream (after they’re cooled off). Delicious!!

The first two I made worse tough issue leather I can hardly get them to cut even with a knife. I just made the carrot. It’s so sweet. It’s sickening you can’t get it down. I’ve tried. I’m gonna have to throw it away too. I won’t even try the fourth. It’s a good thing they were cheap But don’t waste your money on these

Tastes okay but it's dry and unpleasantly crumbly. I added twice as much egg to be able to eat. Almost immediately gave me indigestion and I have a cast iron stomach

I’ve been on keto a couple of months and have noticed a big difference with arthritis pain. I do like sweet things and I have become bored with eggs and bacon/sausage and I am to the point I can’t even look at meat in the morning so these cakes are a good alternative for me. Because of the tablespoon of fat and the egg, I don't get hungry until lunchtime. The orange almond is wonderful with just the right amount of orange flavoring and crunch from the almonds. The carrot cake is perfect with a little chew appeal from the dehydrated carrots. I like the lemon poppyseed but I think the lemon flavor could be toned down a bit. I haven’t tried the chocolate yet but I’m pretty sure it will be great. I also ordered the pumpkin spice and it is delicious and so tasty this time of year. Are they kind of expensive? Yes, but they are good and they have no sweetener aftertaste. Allulose is my favorite sweetener and I haven’t had any stomach issues because of it. If you make ice cream that’s the sweetener to use. It won’t become rock hard. So, I would advise anyone to try these lovely mug cakes. They keep me on keto which is not an easy thing to do.
