Leave-On Conditioner

We used this along with the Enzymatic Shampoo on our cat that has allergic dermatitis. We had amazing success in healing her skin that was chewed raw and hairless. After bathing her with the shampoo, we applied the Rinse and left it on to air dry. The overall length of treatment was 4 weeks. The first week we applied the Rinse directly to her sores 2 to 3 times daily and rubbed gently. Over the next three weeks, we applied once every few days. During the full treatment, we did not shampoo again and continued to apply only the Rinse to her dry skin. The Rinse dries soft and did not create matting on my short haired cat. Her skin began to heal rapidly over the first week and within the first 2 days the patches started to heal over and form a smooth, shiny skin cover (not crusty scabs) that was supple and soft. She did not chew or scratch at the direct application of the Rinse and had no adverse or allergic reactions at all. By the end of the 4th week, her hair was fully grown in and completely healed. The Rinse has a fresh clean scent that will linger on both your animal and your hands. I decided to use gloves after the first day would suggest using gloves while applying. I don't dislike the scent, but it was a bit cloying for my own sensitive nose. The scent is similar to what groomers use as their finishing 'perfume'. However, my review remains at 5 stars because of the impressive results and not wanting my personal scent preference to detract from the actual performance of the product. As a maintenance treatment, we often use just the Rinse to address hot spots and it has worked to offer quick relief from the itching and promote healing before the irritations turn into full sores. I am fully satisfied with the Rinse, will continue to use it and recommend it highly.

Very best product I've found/used to relieve my dogs (2yrs+) skin either allergy or fungal problems (Vet's could never define which), smells great, leaves his furs very soft....is now the only shampoo and rinse product I use on my pet(s). Along with the shampoo this is the only product that actually helped and cleared up his skin/problems and gave him visible relief, even after having stock in very expensive Vet purchased products that did little-to-nothing to help the problems (except make the Vet's alot of money) and had nasty side affects. He had no adverse side affects at all using this product for an extended period. It took cutting/keeping his fur/coat very short, using the shampoo one-to-two times a week at first, leaving a light dose of the cream rinse on without rinsing it off after a bath (as the instructions state) and then in-between baths consistent, faithful, twice a day small dose applications of the cream rinse to the affected areas until the affected areas/skin were totally cleared up and any skin discolorations were gone, then a week or so after all cleared, as well as repeated daily checking for any new breakouts and the same quick and repeated applications to any new areas that started to breakout. It took upwards of a two-to-three+ months to get him all cleared up and then several weeks/months of the same method and reapplications to any new outbreak areas to get the poor guy all cleared up and out of misery. His skin has been cleared up for over three months, with only some very minor re-occurrences that are easy to take care of if faithfully checking and reapplying at any first signs of breakouts (works great to help on bug bites too). I did make some diet changes and bedding detergent changes (decreased amount of detergents used and double rinsed) along the way and stopped using plastic dog dishes, but can't say for sure if these actions did or did not made any big contributions, however I could see sustained and consistent improvements using this product. Can only hope this process/description may help others struggling with similar problems/issues to find relief for their beloved companions and like me, family members!!

I use Zymox Products for my dog with severe allergies. This Rinse is a rich cream, like a lotion or a conditioner. I use it on my dog after baths as a conditioner, and I also use it 'in between baths' for moistening his itchy or dry skin like a lotion. It is the only product that I can think of that is like a dog lotion that is mild enough for sensitive skin...no reactions! I have been using this product for 3 years, along with the shampoo. Both work really well. Although it is a lotion, it small amounts rub in well. You will get the hang of how much to use according to your dog's fur. My dog slows 'way down' on licking hot spots after I apply this lotion to his skin or a hot spot area in between baths. I like the pleasant smell and it does not burn my dog's raw skin in the hot spot areas. This rinse and the shampoo both contain enzymes, which I believe helps to break down some of the bacteria on a dog's skin. I really like it and will continue to use it as one of my dog grooming and skin healing "staples". I also recommend the Zymox Ear Solution that is sold on Amazon. My dog had severe ear infections for a few years and this is another good Zymox product. I keep a bottle of the Zymox 'Plus' Ear Solution on hand for maintaining ear health. If your dog has an ear infection, then no sweat, you only use one squirt a day with no cleaning and no fuss!

My dog itches and scratches, so this helps soothe my dogs skin. It also helps to keep his hair (poodle) from tangling and easy to brush after his bath. He smells really good to, and its almost like he feels extra special after his baths when we use this product.

Works well on my Cocker Spaniel that has skin problems. Works well to help clear up his fungal/bacterial infection without causing more irritation. I've only used it twice as a lotion (full strength and no rinsing), and my baby's less itchy already and his skin is doing much better. Great product! It smells nice, too :-) Just wish I could also get the shampoo... It doesn't ship to South Korea... Customs law, maybe?

Conditioner rinse works for itchy, red, imflamed skin on dog. You can use just the conditioner alone or with the zymox shampoo. I put some conditioner in a spray bottle with a bit of water and use it as a lotion if he's getting itchy and it will calm it down. Smells great too.

This is excellent product for dogs skin and if applied to any hot spots will give instant relief
