I was looking for a paper that would work well for pen and watercolor art. This paper met all my expectations for this.

I don't think Leda should market as Italian Art Paper when it is made in Malaysia. Nothing wrong with that and I'm sure the paper will be fine, but artists should compare pricing with the Fabriano Studio line, which is also 25 percent cotton.The ad says Italian Art Paper and the cover does also with a small flag of Italy.

I'm new to watercolor but I have already learned that I prefer the hot press paper over cold press. I don't have any technical details since I'm such a beginner. But I like the way the paint works with this paper, and I appreciate a bundle of 2 for a fair price. Would def purchase again. PS I also like the size and the weight/thickness.

The only thing I did not realize is that it is 25% cotton, but for the price there aren't any complaints!!

I used this paper for the 2 mixed media projects shown. Yes, I realize this is watercolor paper but I used it for acrylics also. Both have 4 undercoats of product, 5 acrylic layers on top of those, followed by texture paste, stamps, ink, pen work and more color. Paper held up great! No pilling, no warping, no need for a stack of books to flatten it. Perfection! I didn’t know what to expect going in and I was very happy with my results.I have also watercolored on this paper - several layers and lots of water - no warping, no pilling. I am very happy with this new Leda item and think you will be too!

Similar to Leda's mixed-media paper, I take some serious issue with them suggesting that there are 24 pages here. I thought it was a stretch on mixed-media, but who the heck does watercolor on both sides of a page?That aside, It is SO smooth! Even though it's not a watercolor block, you still need a utility knife to remove each sheet, or the paper will warp.This is my first time using hot-pressed paper, and it seems to take a lot more water, though using more water means that drying time is increased. I've been pleased with the results.After multiple layers of paint and blending, it was nice to find that the paper held up well without breaking down. Based on my first few tests, it appears to be high quality paper.

This paper is exactly what I was looking for! The smooth surface is a joy to paint on. When Amazon badly bungled the delivery of this product, this vendor immediately made it right in a way that exceeded my expectations.
