Works good and here's how to fix the leaky mess problem
This works pretty good for my wife's support hose, but as others have commented, if you lay it down in a suitcase it will leak out the applicator ball and make a mess.To fix the leaking problem, wipe the top with a piece of paper towel. Don't make the ball applicatore rotate, when wiping or your will waste the contents, just wipe the exposed top portion.Next, stretch a small piece of plastic wrap (thinner is better) thightly across the applicater and secure it with a thin rubber band at the rim; then screw the lid back on. Make sure the pastic wrap is even and not bunched up in any one area before you screw the cap back on. Too much plastic wrap might crack the cap.I've tested this solution with the it laying on it's side for over 24 hours -- no leak whatsoever. If you are traveling, you will need additional clean pieces of pastic wrap to rewrap it again before you put it in your suitcase...

Overall very happy with product
Please note, review is going off using this product from the pharmacy, then buying it from Amazon. I have not used it yet, but assume it's the same.I don't know if there's a better brand, but this is what was recommended and previously purchased at a pharmacy for more money. It works as long as you don't sweat, but that's because it rinses amazingly well with water which is necessary, so I don't see another way. No leakage from shipping. Only skin irritation at times, depending on where it's used and for how long, but I have sensitive skin. Not always pleasant to pull off, but how else do you want it when you need it to stick!I use this on my compression gear at the upper thigh to hold them up. I have to use quite a bit of it to keep them going strong for many hours, and eventually when the gear slides too much it gets painful and needs to be peeled off. But gravity and movement can't be helped... the fact that it's still sticking after being pulled on all day is a testament. I used once at the below-the-knee and it was terribly irritating (for me) there, but held very well. When desperate to keep compression stockings from digging into my ankles I use it on the tops of my feet and it's great but doesn't last long in warm weather, of course. You do have to wash gear more often when using this as it leaves a stiffness on the gear that irritates/cuts into my skin. It's stinky when you put it on, but after drying I don't notice. Of course I don't wear it anywhere near my face, so it's not an issue.I just don't think you can find anything better, despite the problems. The problem is having to wear compression gear.. not the product. I stand by this product :)

“Sock glue” is a must if you are wearing tall stockings.
This glue is absolute magic. If you are planning on wearing thigh-high or similar stockings and don’t want garters, this is the magic trick that will save your life.Over the course of a day, your stockings may pull away from your skin a little, causing a small amount of sagging in spots, but the majority of the edge should hold up without a worry. When removing your stockings, be prepared to treat the process like removing a bandaid; you can either pull them off your skin, pulling and hurting a bit, or you can try getting the glue wet again to ease the adhesive a bit before pulling.I personally had just two issues with this particular brand, which lowered the stars for this review:The glue itself gave me a small amount of prickling/rash, which I suspect that is my own skin sensitivity reacting to the adhesive; if you have sensitive skin, or any allergy to adhesives, please use this product with caution. The other issue (which really is the loss of stars) is that the bottle appears to not be completely airtight, or perhaps became pressurized in transit and “overflowed” a bit; the whole inside of the box was covered in tacky adhesive, and I had to pry the bottle out and wash it thoroughly before use. It is a bit frustrating to be constantly losing product from the bottle, as even after a washing, it still seems to leak a bit. I always make sure to keep it double bagged when storing it, anyways.
