I bought a Kenmore vacuum cleaner in 2015. I looked on the manual for the part number. I entered on Amazon search. Parts looks identical as the original ones. After replacing both filters as well as the bag my vacuum cleaner runs like new! I also have a friend that has the same Kenmore vacuum cleaner, I asked her how it’s been working, she said it’s hasn’t been suctioning as it used to and that she’s thinking about buying a new vacuum cleaner. I mentioned her about these filters and I suggested to try them first. So I ordered the same kit for her. After she replaced the old filters she said: it works like a new vacuum cleaner!! I highly recommend this product for its quality and price!

These fit perfectly. I have 2 Kenmore canister vacuums that needed this part replaced (I don't think I have ever replaced them in the 10 years I have owned the vacuums). The old parts were still functional, as old Kenmore parts are made to last. So I paid a bit more to buy something that appeared to better quality vs the 6 or 10 pack for a few dollars more. I am happy with these, they are now installed, and they appear to be made well.

We are a family of six with 2 dogs and 4 cats. That’s a lot of mammals and a lot of hair! I have allergies and must vacuum twice a week with my trusty 2001 kenmore canister vac. What a relief to find that I could still purchase these filters! Such a life saver.

The motor was overheating and shutting down because of plaster dust that had come through a hole in the bag and collected on the motor filter. I washed out the old filter, but decided to order this two-pack in case. It fit perfectly. Installation was a piece of cake - reach under the rubber seal and pull the old filter out, and slide the new one in its place, white side towards the collector bag (the mesh is just a support for the cloth motor filter). I took the opportunity to vacuum out the bag compartment using a shop vac, and wiped things clean before installing. A new collector bag and the vacuum is transformed - great suction, no more overheating. Handy to have a backup by buying a package of 2. Measures 5 inches by about 4 3/4", and fits snugly in the slot.

The foam filters CF-1 came two in the package and are very important to your health as the quality of air you breathe depends on how often you change these foam filters located in the bag compartment. The HEPA media filters model 86889 are even more important to change as they filter the exhaust that comes thru the hose , into the bag, then out thru this filter located in the back compartment which is easy to open by lifting a small lever to open the compartment. Make sure to line up the air flow arrow like the one that is already in the compartment so the filtered air goes out into the room. A dirty filter means dirty air quality when you vacuum so it is an inexpensive thing to do to protect you your family and your pets, making it much easier to breathe for those that suffer from allergies. I do not recommend trying to clean and save the old filters as they will not really be clean.

Exactly as pictured. I needed a replacement filter for my vacuum at home so I bought this 2 pack. My home vacuums original filter was only foam with no white felt filter but I fits/works perfectly. The second filter was perfect for the vacuum at work and an exact replacement. Both are Kenmore Elegance canister vacs both different model years.
