Amazing product

I had read the reviews and was prepared to return if I experienced the same, however I was pleasantly surprised as I think I got an excellent deal. My templates are not flimsy, and the foot is metal - not plastic. All the tools appear to be in top shape. I have not tried it just yet but when I do I will be happy to share how it all turns out... I do have the real flimsy templates that are paper thin and had issues which is what drew my attention to this kit and thankfully these are rather thick and will update once I try them out.

I have not used the templates yet, they are light and thin. I believe they will work fine with some practice. My complaints are that there is no instruction, or model to follow. Even a paper sample would help in placing the templates for the next line, particularly in the feather template. While it is nice that they provided a foot it is made of plastic and I would never use it with my sewing machine

Just as ordered

These templates are 1/8” thick, so if you have a long arm, these more than likely won’t work. But I really liked them and wanted to see if I could get them to work for me. So I bought some clear, rectangular shaped , silicone door bumpers and attached them to the design edges of the templates. That was enough to make them 1/4” thick so the quilting foot isn’t jumping over the edges. And Bomus! the addition of the silicone strips adds to the “grip” of the template and aids in moving the fabric.

Not enough written instructions

The package included what was expected, however the quality is not great. The foot is metal, but I'm not confident about how it will hold-up to use. The ruler templates are only 1/8" thick vs. the 1/4" thickness that is typical of quilting rulers for this purpose. Overall, I'm disappointed with the purchase.

I am confident my quilting foot will jump when I put this on a quilting frame with more give. So getting an identical set to super glue exactly together to make a higher edge.
