First, I appreciate products that are plug and play. Plugged this in, hung it from a hook outside in a good (dark, away from people and pets) place, and clicked the button. I walked away thinking it'd take a day or two to draw bugs, and was startled an hour later to hear loud clicks and machine-gun-fast zaps. Walked over and there they were, clusters of bugs swarming around it (I live in the country, btw) compelled to fly in and fly out as tiny balls of fire or get crisp and fall into the tray. My husband and I were able to sit 12 ft. away on the deck without any malicious little bugs trying to suck our blood. COOOL!! Pretty quiet, smooth design, great price point. Hope it keeps working this well. It's a bug-killing machine. I love it.

One of the reasons for choosing this was the appearance. It is aesthetically a good match for our backyard outdoor area. The color of the light even is pleasant and does not detract from our outdoor lighting scheme. It immediately started attracting bugs and got rid of them, with an acceptable level of noise. We have friends who use their bug zapper, but the noise from it is noticeable and interrupts. The only short coming would be the short length of the cord. We had to use an extension cord. We plan to replace the current with a matching cord and install along the eaves so that it is less obtrusive.

Everything it says in the description is true. High powered for sure and effective. The one thing I would change... is make smaller openings. I am struggling with the moth sizzle sounds and electric fried smoke smell that follows. It kind of needs to either be wider open in at least the inner barrier to allow a quicker zap... or smaller slats to just get gnats and mosquitos and flies. What happens is that those medium size moths get in and you just aren't quite prepared for the length and force of the zapping that happens. I am actually going to put a safe probably wire mesh around it to prevent those moths from getting in.

I now have two of these bug zappers and LOVE them! Nothing and I mean nothing else works as effectively as the DJRoll. When this product was unavailable (I had one and wanted another) I bought a similar product and in a year it has caught one fly. The DJRoll plugs in and begins killing every type of flying insect around! I was so happy when I saw it had become available again. Now, I'm going to order them as gifts for my friends. We have no see-ums in Florida and the DJRoll works on them too! GREAT product!!!

I love it. I bought it to use near my deck and it works great. However, the real bonus, which I wasn't expecting, was indoors. When we get a fly in the house, instead of hunting the fly I just turn this on and the fly is dead usually within 30 minutes.Having a switch on it is a big deal for this reason - I can just leave it out all the time and turn it on when I need it.It's very light and small and quiet. (some devices hum)

I have been living in my home for about a year now and I get so many flies and gnats. I finally had enough and started working on a solution. I tried traps with banana, soap, vinegar...I tried them all. Then I went to sticky paper, then I tried a sucking purple light machine. I finally decided that the gnat population was too smart for any of these methods and so I was in search for the perfect bug zapper. I bought one and the first zapper I bought was useless. I immediately returned it and thought all hope was lost. Then I came across this bug zapper and the reviews of other buyers restored my hopes that I finally found the right solution. The first hour I had this baby on, I heard so many zaps that I thought the zapper was making weird sounds. After one day, all the gnats have been murdered. After trying so many other methods that usually caught only a few and never all, I am grateful for this find. Don't go anywhere else, this is the one! Trust me, you won't regret it.

I quite like this bug zapper. It is light weight, very easy to use, and not difficult to clean. I am not sure how effective it is, as I had a swarm of mosquitoes on my porch and very few went to the zapper, but I do hear it zapping every so often which is satisfying.

This works very well in clear weather but isn’t supposed to be used in rainy weather. It says outdoor in the amazon description, but the instructions only are about indoor use. I sent a message to the seller and learned this isn’t to be used in rain or damp conditions.

The media could not be loaded.  Es una pena que sólo funcionara durante unas horas. Al día siguiente, sólo emitía luz violeta que sí que atrae a los insectos, pero ya no los mata, no hace los chasquidos del primer día, y los insectos se amontonan alrededor, pero no mueren, así que no sirve. Lo siento, pero me gustaría que funcionara como el primer día.

Presa per la baita in montagna, dove li l'impianto e tutto fotovoltaico, quindi mi sono imbattuto in qualche lampada che non consumasse troppo , i consumi sono perfetti 6w ora essendo led , è arrivata con un gancetto un po' lesionato,ma non impatta sul funzionamento, sembra funzionare avendo catturato qualche volatile, per il momento do 5 stelle ma mi riservero per il futuro con altra eventualemente recensione consiglio l'acquisto

Ich habe die Mückenfalle gefunden und als ich sie ausprobiert habe, war ich begeistert, weil weder Insekten noch Mücken ihr entkommen. Sie hat ein doppeltes Licht und zieht alle Mücken in der Umgebung an. Jetzt bin ich beruhigt, weil mein Haus mückenfrei ist und kann gut schlafen.
