Q: The back label is not shown. Is this oil refined?

Our Extra Light Olive Oil is created by blending high quality Virgin olive oil with refined olive oil to create the grade known as “Olive Oil.” This process maintains the fatty acids of the oil, which are rich in oleic acid, and gives the oil a mild taste and delicate flavor which is useful for all-purpose cooking. Refined olive oil is obtained from Virgin olive oil by refining methods which reduce free acidity and the strong tastes of the initial Virgin olive oil and that do not lead to alterations in the original triglyceride structure.

Q: What are the Ingredients, Couldn't find it here nor on the bottle.?

Interesting question. I looked at both bottles I’ve purchased here and do not find an ingredient list. My bad assumption, I assumed it was pure olive oil!

Q: Is this Vegan friendly?

This is 100% olive oil. If Vegans are allowed olives, then you’re good to go!

Q: Instead of golden, the color is lemonade yellow. Why?

Any oil with this title (sometimes called "Pure Olive Oil" or "Light Olive Oil") is most likely lighter in color (pale yellow) and costs less than its extra-virgin counterpart. This oil is typically a blend of cold-pressed olive oil and olive oil that has been refined to remove any natural impurities in the oil. In order to do this, the oil has been treated either chemically or with heat. The resulting oil is lighter in color, almost neutral in flavor, and able to withstand a higher temperature than extra-virgin olive oil.
