I bought this to replace the original hard drive that came with my home security camera system. This fit the mold exactly. It's obviously not an SSD so it's not going to be silent or as efficient as a newer hard drive. But for the price, it works well and thus far has been reliable in doing the job. If you're simply switching this in for something similar and are price conscious, this should fit the bill.

Great value, not as fast as 7200 Rpm drive, but it is cool and quiet, which is good for small space.

Needed replacement drives for my CTV Security system and these arrived individually wrapped and sealed in an anti-static bag. Ran diagnostics on all three drives I purchased and not one error detected. Will order more from them as needed.

I purchased this hard drive to replace the corrupted drive in my security system. When I installed the drive it never worked. I had circumstances arise that kept me from promptly returning it. When I contacted the seller I was told I was out of luck and I needed to take it to somebody to fix it. I want my money back but I’m sure I never will!!!

Put hard drive unit in my external hard drive enclosure, formatted it, and assigned a drive letter, and tested it out, worked just fine.

Bought this 500 GB hard drive (certified renewed). Packaging as mentioned from this "Layger" seller is over the top excellent. Well done guys! It runs great as expected. I ran a quick health test scan on the drive before installing it....tested 100% excellent on my pro drive software. Just keep in mind.....the drive will have....or could have a couple years of prior run time on it before they re-certified (renewing) it. Enjoy though. Price was decent.

Purchased this HD for my Bell 9242 PVR. Installed and the pvr auto formatted the drive and Bob's your uncle! :)
