It's pops corn fast, and cleanly. *thumbs up*
**Writing this while eating a bowl of popcorn**I have used this machine about a dozen times, and so far, it works great for me. It's quick- pops within 1-2 minutes, and produces light and fluffy popcorn.Though, It has a few quirks.Yes, kernels can fly out well before they pop. To combat this, I simply tilt the machine back SLIGHTLY to cause the kernels to fall backwards, instead of being forced out the exit. I do this until the I hear the kernels start to pop, then I set it flat.Yes, it does not have a switch. As soon as you plug it in, it's on. As long as you remember, and you prepare, it's not an issue. Easy fix- get a plug switch adapter. They're fairly inexpensive, and you can find them on this site.Lastly, the top (the shoot/exit) is plastic, and it gets hot! (Understandably) Be cautious when taking the top off. Again, as long as you are aware, it's not an issue.I do not use the butter scoop/warmer, so I cannot comment on that part. I spray with oil, if I do feel like using butter, I will melt on the stove separately- that's just my preference.Overall, I'm very happy with this product. It's pops corn fast, and cleanly, for a quick snack. The price wasn't bad either. I recommend. *thumbs up*

Works great and fast. perfect pop, tastes great
Works great and fast, perfect pop every time. Maybe 1 or 2 kernel per a scoop not pop, can’t beat that consistency. Tastes great. I just been using Orville Redenbacher yellow kernels, I buy a big jug of it when buy this popper. I didn’t try to heat butter in scoop. I been just eating plain. Great low calorie and fiber snack. It makes 1 scoop at a time. Scoop is 1/2 cup. It cooks in just a few minutes. Super fast. Clean up is easy just wipe out with dry rag or paper towel. I been using a pot that I have a lid for. It pops right into pot. I grab some for snack and put the lid on pot for tomorrow’s left overs. Highly recommend.

Good, but unpopped kernels fly out of the chamber and makes a mess..
Well, it's a popcorn popper. It does what it's supposed to, and the popcorn turns out nice and not too chewy. Everything pops within a couple of minutes, so it doesn't take too long. It's weird that there is no on/off switch. You have to plug in the unit to start it, and unplug to stop it. But I can look past that.Butter seems to need more time to melt in the tray, but I suppose that's a side effect of the corn popping quickly. I just stir the butter some with a knife while it's melting to help speed it along, and that seems good enough to get it all melted in time. You can always opt to melt the butter on the stove. This unit throws unpopped kernels out of the chamber while running, and they end up on the counter top or on the kitchen floor. From what I'm reading, they all do that, so I may just get myself a deeper popcorn bowl to try to help contain the mess. I like this popper otherwise.

Look no further for a hot air popcorn maker. This is the BEST
I love this popcorn maker. Look no further. I tried many other hot air, popcorn makers, and this is by far the best. The other popcorn makers did not even come close. This one pops the kernel so they are nice and fluffy . The other popcorn makers did not pop all the kernels and they were flying out all over. The only issues are that there is no on off switch and the butter doesn’t really melt in the top.

Great Quality Air Popper!
Works well and all the popcorn actually landed in the bowl! Popped quickly and without leaving many kernals unpopped. I like the design and color. Only things is I wish there was an on-off switch. It only starts and stops by plugging it in or unplugging. Seems like good quality and a good size. Definitely much better than our last air popper.

It blows too hard! ( otherwise it is just fine)
Our Poplite hot air popper by Presto, model number 0486402, sucks!Well, actually, it BLOWS!It blows TOO HARD, so much so that it throws out 12+ un-popped kernels -well before they have been heated long enough to have had a chance to have popped. And it does so with such GREAT force, that those un-popped kernels can bounce right out of the huge bowls which I have long used, without any problems, with all my previous decades of air poppers). And, yes, I have the bowl is placed as far away from the popper as is practical -to diminish the number of uncaptured “meteors” .Even with me holding the popper tilted as far back from the bowl as is practical (with me holding the pooper’s *hot* top in place with a hand towel, and with another hand towel spread-out in the bowl, it still bounces out at least 10 kernels. My tipping-back of the popper theoretically lessens the number of unpopped kernels which are being optimally heated at one time and (theoretically) gives a smaller number of kernels at a time, a chance to spend a little more time on the “ hot spot” without getting blown out as I slowly tip the popper forward towards the fully upright position. Be very careful with this technique as you are better off to be safe and will need lots of practice to only get relatively fewer unpopped kernels. You know, I think I just talked myself out of continuing to do my “tilt” technique.( *do not touch the errant un-popped kernels on the countertop and floor with your fingers, as they are VERY hot -and for a surprisingly long time).(I didn’t return the popper because by the time it arrived, we were moving to temporary quarters where we waited for many weeks for the homeowners of our newly purchased house to vacate our new home. and then, it took me weeks to get to use it enough to get so ticked-off by this popper to even look into returning it.I am 74 years old and this is NOT my first air popper -not by any means.

Great popper
Very happy with this popper. I have tried several brands. Cuisinart device lasted 1 week. Stopped blowing hot air. I bought an lesser known brand from Target. That one lasted a year. Bought one made by "Vitaforqualg" that was supposed to be large capacity that held a bit over 1/4cup.This Presto popper will pop a little more than 1/2 cup. The only complaint is that it does not have power switch so it is a plug in to start & unplug to stop
