I like that it's not a typical 1" thick book but still has so many pages with lots of different memory entry prompts. Has a good chunk of pages focused on pre baby arrival (so just remembering to do all of that before delivering baby and forgetting what life was like prior to a newborn is definitely the hardest part. Has lots of pages for you to add pictures or keepsakes if wanted. Great gender neutral option for anyone who is team green like us!

This is a hardcover book that's not really "hard" - the front and back are slightly cushiony. The imagery seems to be applied to the covers like stickers, although they are not stickers, just a different texture. I love the little animals and this was the theme of my niece's nursery so I felt it was the perfect gift. The book has lots of pages, with thoughtful prompts and topics. I like the pages where Mommy and Daddy write separate letters to the baby. But... there are things that disappoint me: I assumed the the imagery was carried over into the inside pages, but it's not. The pages are OK - I just wanted them to be more adorable. There are lots of things to fill in - potentially making it a chore on mom and dad. The back cover has an advertisement and QR Code for Pegasus. I'm ok with a card inside the book, or on the outer plastic protective plastic. But it's not ok to put this directly on what should be a keepsake book. Poor taste.
