These are very convenient and easy to use. There are some slightly different models and I don't recommend using the fancy chromed latch version. They don't latch easily. We use this one (two actually) with the folding filler chute and it's great. Some people have commented the chute will not stay up. However, if you look carefully, there are two small latch pieces that hook over the edge of the shallow recessed top. This type of plastic molding is not as consistently accurate as some other types. The simple solution (which I used on our most recent purchase) is to heat the upper half of the chute with a hair dryer and then bending it very slightly by applying some manual pressure. It only takes about 5 minutes and is very easy. Much less time than packing it up and sending it back! You could also do this if it were to wear or gt deformed and stop working.

Wrote these clowns an email because I have purchased several of these over the years and the quality has dropped precipitously in the last year or two while the price has increased 50%. needless to say, their customer service department could not be bothered to reply to my email, so I instead will put them on blast here. I bought a new one a couple of months ago and the bottom has already split. in addition, the filter/screen inside never lasts for very long and is always coming out of its slots, requiring me to reach into the nasty litter box with alarming frequency to fix it. the litter also leaks out of the rolling edge because the tolerances for the product are garbage. I absolutely do not recommend this trash box - you've been warned!

Last year I bought 2 litter maids. Guess what, they both broke within a week of each other. So decided to replace them with a revolving drum unit. But could only afford one (Chinese knockoff). Soooo, I bought one of these too. Guess what again. All three of my cats prefer the Omni Paws. The expensive one gets only a very little use. And, it's not really that hard to roll the omni paws and empty once or twice per day. And this one will never break down. Sigh. Could have saves some big bucks. The fold down filler is genius. My litter comes in square cartons and it's so easy to pour into the fold down filler spout. Not so with the electric unit. Best innovation in years.

Well made, easy to assemble, price is good. I gave it a 4 because you do have to whack the bottom a few times. I was not happy with my litters performance so I am trying Fresh step this go around. I think this is one of those products that takes time to get the best results. My old litter (Arm&Hammer) works well in a regular scoop litter box, but not so well with this one. The liter will get gummy and makes it messy, also I would advise to roll your box daily with multiple cats.....I will update my litter performance info as I go...

We did not start using this litter box until about 2 months after we bought it, but we have been using it now for about 4 months and it has already developed a hole in the bottom. whatever you're using needs to have more layers of plastic in the bottom, made for rolling and tapping off what's on the inside! the first box that we purchased years ago lasted a very good while but the last two have not done a good job for us! We love the rolling part but that is about it. The drawer also starts sticking and splitting in the corners! The quality has definitely gone down!

STOP LOOKING, you found it!!! I'm a pet sitter and have seen them all. I've seen expensive automatic litter boxes, you have to subscribe to get the special bags/litter, costing $600+. Those are just not in my budget. The old school scoop outs, just not hygienic honestly, pretty gross too. This one tics all the boxes! It's so easy to roll & empty the tray! It feels tough enough to last, the large is perfect for my 15lb girl. It's worth the money to never have to scoop!

I generally don’t write reviews but this is one of the best finds I have ever had on Amazon. This is easy to use and works really well. We are going to replace our other litter boxes with these.

I had one for two years, it went. Okay, it's cheap, and two years seems okay because the concept is good, ONCE you get used to it. Replaced this past August 2021 after two years. That one had a broken latch by Nov. 2021, too late for a refund. So, I thought, maybe it was a fluke, and the cats and I like this set-up. So I bought one in Nov., 4.5 months later, April 2022, same latch area has cracked again. I finally just pushed Amazon reps until I got full refund, no return. I pointed out I was not going to scrub this thing clean to return, and it was more than slightly illegal to ship items with feces and urine on/in them, and I didn't appreciate being told to break the law. Voila! Success. Please, use my same approach, and feel free to refer to this review!!!!! Some tips: In hind sight, I'd be inclined to reinforce the plastic on the bottom where the clips hit, with duct tape, on the OUTSIDE. Might help. You can tump the bottom if you want, but if you smack it to get stuck stuff out, it can knock the "screen" that captures the clumps out of its slot, and you will have a big mess. Better to use a little more litter if stuff is getting stuck. Again, great idea, and with a little upgrade of the quality of plastic and some thickening of the mold for where the latches go, and it'd be okay.

-El material es de buena calidad, con buen grosor y se ve durable. -El color es exactamente igual al de la imagen. -Sí facilita la limpieza, es más rápida e higiénica, mis pulmones y nariz lo agradecen. -Sí disminuye bastante el olor a comparación de un arenero abierto, que aunque uses una buena arena, pues la habitación huele a arena. -Tengo 2 gatos de tamaño grande que pesan entre 5-6kg y caben super bien. A mi 3er gato, que también pesa 6kg pero es más largo y grande, sí le queda un poco justo, pero lo puede usar. -En época de calor es probable que tus gatos sí prefieran usar un arenero abierto y ps ni modo, pero solo será en esa época. -Leí algunos comentarios de que al voltear la casita se salía la arena por los bordes que unen la parte inferior con la superior, pero en mi caso no pasa. Sí sale polvo porque pues la unión no es hermetica pero es muy poco, nada exagerado y granos de arena, nada.

Cuando lo volteas para limpiar se sale un buen de la arena, un desastre que ya mejor ni lo uso.

El diseño está bien pero la estructura del plástico es débil así como la rejilla de separación interna no permite la limpieza
