It did the job

Our outdoor heater wouldn’t work properly when turning the knob from low to high. Once this was installed the heater started working correctly again.

Just what I needed for my Camplux propane tankless water heater, so I know it can be trusted to keep me safe. Pressure regulation in these must be held to definite parameters. One thing that should have been addressed in the description is that you’ll need to buy an adapter to connect this long hose/regulator to a Camplux Lp tankless water heater. (Further, the owner’s manual says that a ‘manual Gas Shut-Off valve is supplied’ with the Tankless Water Heater installation kit - it is not.) The price for this regulator was reasonable. It appears to be a quality item and I plan to have it installed by an expert.Camplux recommended this one to me along with their wall thimble for the vent stack to go through my wall. (I’ll review it separately but it was quite expensive, nearly double the price of a larger one.)

I was despairing in advance of the approaching hurricane as my #2 generator, bought a year ago at least, I finally unboxed and it did not include the regulator hose it was supposed to have in box (generator #1 I set up last year did have it). Anyway I went through regulator hoses from Walmart, Home Depot, and Lowe's (all the right size and type supposedly), but they did not properly regulate the gas and the generator would barely start (if at all) but not keep running. All of these appear to be made in China, but this one looked (by the writing on the regulator) most like the Sportsman one (doesn't say a Chinese industrial area/city on it). Anyway I hooked it up and it started up and runs like a charm.

Original Review. Bought with Camplux tankless water heater. It was shown as a "frequently bought with" item. But it DOESN'T WORK! Has a 3/8" fitting and the water heater fitting is 3/4".EDIT: Camplux tech support was very helpful. They had mistakenly sent a natural gas adapter with the unit and it is liquid petroleum (LP). They pointed me to the correct adapter on Amazon and are refunding me the cost of purchasing the correct item.
