It’s all about the width
The width allows the difference in height of two floor to have a slow gradient/ramp. Mine was 9mm difference in level making the gradient approximately 0.1/7 over the 70mm width which helps with a trips and falls, most trips are an issue because they not recognised by eye 3-5mm is more likely to be a trip risk than 30-50mm. Being made of aluminium cutting was easy. The thickness of the aluminium makes it strong and mine has not received any dents. All in all a good buy

Brilliant
Had wide gap between kitchen stone and lounge wood floor. Slightly different levels.This worked a treat.Only gripe is that raw plugs supplied are too large to grip the screws. My advice is ditch the supplied raw plug and use standard red ones.
