I've had similar lamps before with the giant power brick and brightness control, and I like these better: the remote works great, and with a little effort you can sync up the color, etc. with two lamps and a single control. The Kelvin temperature control is subtle from cool (blueish), true white, and warm white, with infinite control with a "wheel" like control; good bright to dim control with a pushbutton, and an easy "night" control with three temperature variations with each press. They look good. I use them for side lights for a bright (SONY) TV so the room is not totally dark (that's hard on the eyes. I recommend them.The images attached are cool, warm white, pure white with the brightness all the way up, taken with an iPhone with no editing.

Bought this as a gift and helped assemble it, it was super easy. You also have to pair the remote to the lamp, though, which was fairly simple- but the instructions were incorrect, the manual states that the lamp with flash three times but it only flashed once.Pros: decent brightness, small footprint, assorted light settings, trip-proof cordCons: there are no On/Off switch on the lamp itself which would make it useless once the remote batteries died, remote is kind of cheaply made and slipperyDecent purchase. Lamp looks great.

This spire of light is easy to use, bright and has good warmth control. I have not used the remote control yet because it didn’t not come with triple a batteries but they are on the way. This obelisk is versatile due to its nature of being so light and slim. A great purchase.

You know how it goes when you order something from China. It usually comes with useless instructions in such small print you’d need a microscope to read. I’m really confused by this lamp. The remote sort of works, but the lamp has to be unplugged or else it shuts off and cannot be turned back on without unplugging it and plugging it back in. The remote doesn’t seem to turn it on or off properly. It also doesn’t really light up a large area, so you may need 2 depending on what your lighting need is. We like the look of it and the idea. It’s modern and sleek. It does change warmth or color a little with the remote, but the remote button icons make no sense. That remote remains a total mystery to us.

Great lamp based on the description provided on Amazon. Design, size, features, brightness and color temp settings, all great. Just what I needed. Right up until I plugged it in and turned it on. It can only be controlled with the included remote, which works well. After turning on the light and setting the color temp (this lamp only has white light which adjusts to various color temps ranging from very cool-bluish white to very warm - yellowish) it immediately changed itself from yellow to bluish white. I changed it back. After 5 minutes it changed - on it's own- again back to bluish white. This went on for the next 24 hours, changing from my setting back to a very cool white color, no matter how I selected the color on the remote (up and down K buttons or with the circular slider) At one point, it changed back and forth from yellow to blue when the power cord was jiggled inadvertently. I know, it's made in China - which I'm against to begin with, BUT, for $85 I expected it to work for more than 5 minutes. In the time it's taken me to type this review, then lamp has changed color 4 times. If it wasn't so expensive, it'd be wrapped around a tree in my back yard ! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

I like the design! It is so modern and fits perfectly on my mancave. A lot of mode for different light. Easy assembly! Properly pack when it arrived.

Metal base is nice. That is pretty much it. Light post was bent, probably because it is very flimsy. Light works. Remote seems to have issues too. Not easy to change settings. Returning.
