Great, build quality
This is a great container and worth the price. Very secure. Easy to clean. Heavy duty metal.

I have the 8L
I’ve read a couple of reviews that said they wished this came in the bigger size. Well, it does! If you type in “kimchi stainless container” an 8L and 5L option come up. This and my 8L container are made by “Kitchen Flower” and are made in Korea. They will last! I’ve had a couple of these for over 3 years and they look like new. We use them all the time for transporting and storing food, hot or cold, dry/refrigerated/frozen. I highly recommend them as they have been well worth the investment. Many plastic and glass containers have come and gone but these remain.

Probably the best available container of this size and format
These are very nice specialty containers but check the seal of each one you buy for quality control. I’ve had to return several because the silicone seal was malformed. If the seal doesn’t lay right, you are going to have smells escape. That is a fact. That said, there is nothing better that I have found in this format/size to keep VOC based smells from escaping. The material of the seal is silicone, which isn’t ideal for retention of small molecules that cause certain odors. However, it does take them a few days to permeate and it is a very small amount that gets out since 99% of the container is steel and impermeable. For the price, I wish these used a better seal like Vitol or PTFE, and were formed and installed more carefully. I’d pay an extra buck or two for a truly impermeable container.

Good size, did not rust, Good quality stainless steel box
Have been using so long. Never showed any sign of rust. Lite enough but sturdy. Closing links are excellent. Good quality material. Size is perfect to store cut chicken with an air-tight lid. Hinges are very good. With nearly 3 times/day operation and after nearly a year of use, box still appear new.

Love this container
Love this container. Stamped no seam construction with the rolled rim means that there’s no places for food to collect or hide inside. It is large enough to hold three kilos of packed meat, or alternatively, I’ve been using it to hold my no knead bread dough. Just set the lid on top without latching during bulk ferment and you don’t even need cling wrap to keep it from drying out. Latches smoothly and the shape tucks neatly into my fridge. Very pleased!

Smells leak - has inadequate seal
Not air tight. Needs to have a seal ring to keep recent kimchi smells from escaping. Looks nice and seems like it will last but …not a good value since my refrigerator smells.
