Is salty &do not taste like cheese but is ok if you use yogurt or sour cream on top to decrease salty taste.I think price is reasonable(I don't know the price at the store ,i never used dry mash potatoes).I recommend just the simple mash potato no added other ingredients)

Love the convenience of B.C. pre-packaged potatoes. Ease of preparation & creamy texture continue to be excellent (my opinion). The flavor is a tad over-garlicky per my husband. Pretty weird since we add garlic to pretty much anything/everything that isn't meant to be dessert. Rather than toss the rest of the pkg's out & to appease my husband I make a dbl batch combining a pkg of B.C. Cheesy with a pkg of the garlic. Hubby likes these potatoes much better. Makes a lot of potatoes but terrific for when company's expected. Problem solved...& that's always a good thing.

They tasted like regular potatoes. We were expecting more from the roasted garlic and cheddar but we were disappointed. Will not purchase again.

Personally, I love this especially with liver and onions just sets it off. I like everything else I make. I usually add a little bit more to it just give it my own special touch like chopped up onion more butter just whatever you feel like that you like in your potatoes even cheese and you make a little bit more out of something else

I love the potatoes. What I didn't like instead of 7 packets there were only 6. It has to be a genuine mistake because the box was intact when I received it.

These are my favorite packaged mashed potatoes! Roast Garlic and Cheddar Cheese. I haven’t found them anywhere, non of my grocery store carries these anymore! Was so happy to see Amazon had them! The price was good too! I bought 2 box’s 😂 in case I can’t find them again!

I do not microwave these. 10 minutes of water boiled and just add.You do NOT need butter with these.You do NOT need milk with these.You CAN add them if YOU want to.They are delicious and very health conscious OPTION if you do not AS WELL.I was told they would not be as good without butter and milk. I assured they would be just fine and better for them.15 minutes to hear "That was REALLY good!".

Side dish or thickener for soups or stews is mostly what I use these for. I have a couple in my bug out bag as well as my cupboard.

Well, I got these to try just because those other potatoes from Idaho are so insanely priced these days. And I was quite pleasantly surprised. These are delicious! You can actually taste the garlic and cheddar - they're not just there in undetectable levels. And you get more in each pouch, and each pouch is substantially cheaper than their competitor. Win win win. They don't have as many varieties but that really doesn't matter. I'll be buying these and their other varieties from now on. P.S.: unless you also pour milk on your regular potatoes, who would do that to these either? The directions say to use a half cup of milk but if you read the small print you can indeed just use all water. So, just use water.
