Great question. For more resistance go for a band that is rated for more weight. If you are unsure we would recommend purchasing multiple smaller bands and use them together, rather than one very large band. Many thanks.

It should as long as the pull up bar is secured properly and isn't damaging the door. I have not tried it myself.

I don’t think weight of women matter just depends what strength she is at to begin with. If she is new to doing pull ups and working work for first time then i would say the thicker the band the better... it will be best assistance. And I would suggest evaluate what strength the person has then go from there.
