UPDATE: 2/10/21 - 2+ YEARS LATER I left a pretty mean review on their customer service before, not sure if they've improved.. However, I was browsing through my purchases and realized I've now had this watch for over 2 years, and it's held up really really well. Don't even think I've had to change the battery yet... the leather strap is slightly worn, I don't wear it every day, but the watch is solid, and the quality turned out to be really good. UPDATE: The replacement Amazon sent after the seller told me to contact them for a solution actually works. The original watch I received was lacking a plastic stopper and clearly defective, even though the seller insisted they never have defective units. The watch itself is a good everyday classy watch. The leather strap is nice. Quality seems decent. I wouldn't ever pay the prices the company has on their website, which are in the $100 range... especially after seeing the quality of their support, who speak broken English. But as a simple everyday watch, this works. Really wanted to like this watch. Arrived defective. The crown is stuck at position 2 and the only thing I can do is adjust the time, but can't get it to work at position 1.. It's stuck. Emailed seller to explain the problem, as I wanted to give them a chance to make it right. Instead, seller responded in broken English, denying responsibility and sending me to Amazon to get it replaced.. I could have done that already on my own, the reason I contacted them was to give them a chance to make it right...This was seller message verbatim: "we are so sorry for happening this situation,but our watches should not be defective,because we will check when we send the watches to Amazon warehouse." Don't know about you, but this gives me zero confidence in this so-proclaimed London brand.. I purchased from Olivia Burton recently, and their watch came in gorgeous packaging with multiple inserts and a dedicated support line.. I expected something similar from this brand as their website prices are comparable with Olivia Burton which sells in Bloomingdales and is a nice high-end watch. Both are London brands.. Now I see they are not even on the same level. It's embarrassing their Amazon support does not even speak English properly! For a London brand! Shame on you, Victoria Hyde.. I ended up asking for a replacement because I got it on a lightning deal and decided to try a replacement.. My Anne Klein watch broke after 6 years when I dropped it at the tile floor at the gym locker room the other day and I need a basic everyday watch. If their service improves and the watch performs better, I will update this review in the future.
