It's Just - Grass-Fed Butter Powder, Made from Real Butter, Shelf Stable, Just Add Water, Made in USA, 9oz

I put a Tablespoon of the butter powder on top of my pan-fried beef burger after it’s been cooked. It mixes with the steam and grease and gives it a nice flavor.

I purchased this product for a backpack trip in the rockies, it seemed like the best way to get butter flavor. I tried it out at home, following the instructions to the letter, and decided it tasted like a cross between the little margarine packets you get at roadside cafes and movie popcorn butter. That worked for me. I used this in polenta, grits, oatmeal and to add richness to dehydrated meals. It worked out very well. You can't melt the final product and cook with it but it does add flavor and is lightweight. It will not magically turn your camp into a butter smeared paradise, but it will add a lot more flavor to your meals with very little weight!

I'm giving a four, but it's really a 3 1/2. It doesn't taste like butter when you put it on popcorn. I bought it to put on popcorn so that the popcorn wouldn't get soggy, but I'm probably going back to regular butter. I'm sure it has a good shelflife and I'm gonna try it with other recipes like making a butter sauce with it or using it in cooking. It just didn't really work for popcorn for me. It's unsalted and it's very powdery.

It’s Just Butter is a truly great product and it is just butter with no additives and made in the USA. It has a lovely fresh aroma and it’s shelf stable. It easily blends into Keto Coffee. When not making Keto Coffee, I’ve used it in place of half & half. I use Pure Indian Foods Ghee (found elsewhere on Amazon) for cooking. If you like milk in your Tea, “It’s Just Butter” is a better choice. It seems to enhance the tea. You might want to put into a salt shaker(without salt) and shake it on your warm eggs, steamed veggies etc. Excellent product! Just reordered 2 more bags.

I bought this for my emergency kit, which I've swapped over from canned to long-shelf-life freeze-dried foods. Bought Jan 2025 - expiration date 9/2026. Other brands' butter powder stores, sealed in original bag or can, up to 10 years. Not 18 months. Maybe they were clearing old inventory? Dunno. But will be buying another brand for the kit and using this stuff in the next 18 months.
