Great but way too many calories
Pros: great flavor authentic taste. Cons: calories 3260 10460 mg in sodium. The taste is not my favorite, personally I use my own recipe

My favor hot source
Vegetable base, spicy but not heavy, good for spicy hot pot and cooking.

I love hotpots and the mala flavor. Was looking to try out some authentic Sichuan Chinese dishes. The packaging has chili oil paste inside not the powder which is a huge plus for me. I made Mapo tofu with this and the Sichuan chili noodles I had in China, almost got the same flavor. This brand is the most famous company for sauces in China. Go for it if you are looking for numbing spice. Going to order 2-3 packs more. And also you can make hotpot with it. HAHAHA Let me give you an easy recipe so you can use this for noodles. Finely chop some ginger, garlic, green onion white part. Mince some chicken or any meat. Pretty important to add meat as it gives a huge flavor boost to the dish. If not then mince some mushrooms. Add oil to wok or kadhai and add some chili flakes. After 1 or 2 min when chili flakes are sizzling add garlic, ginger, and green onion. Saute for 2 min and then add meat. Saute for 2 min. Deglaze the wok with some cooking wine (Optional) I used Japanese Sake. Add 1 tbsp soy sauce, vinegar, and half tbsp chili sauce. Add 3 tbsp of the hot pot mix (add more if you want extra spice). Can add some MSG at this point (Optional). Stir for 2min and add around 200ml water. Bring to boil and then add noodles (can use Maggi noodles), cook until the noodles are cooked, and then add paneer or tofu. Add some Shitake mushrooms (optional). Check salt. Add some sesame oil (Optional) Garnish with finely cut green onion top part. This recipe was made by me at 3 AM in the morning after watching too many Chilli Oil Noodles posts on Insta.

Not as good as the ones I bought from the store. But after mixing the ingredients our kids could drink it as well since it is not that hot. I wish it had more flavours of packaging inside.

Good product, has an authentic sichuan peppercorn flavor. Recommend it for those making hot pots.
