I Won't Go Back To Liquid
I was looking for shampoos without sodium laurel sulfate (it causes hair loss, and in toothpaste it causes your gums to recede). In addition, any products that contain water have to contain germicides to kill bacterial growth. This shampoo bar solves both of those issues and WORKS GREAT!!! My hair is always nice and clean. This bar lathers up wonderfully! Oh..... it also doesn't contain toxic fragrance!! there are so many toxic chemicals that I avoid just by using this shampoo bar. I've been using it for several months but it isn't even halfway gone.

Best Shampoo I've Ever Used
I absolutely love this shampoo bar. I tried a more expensive one and was not impressed. Decided to give this one a try and don't regret it. Recently, I thought I'd go back to my old liquid shampoo and conditioner and my hair didn't look as good. With this soap, my hair holds a soft, natural curl. With the liquid brand I had been using, my hair looked brittle and harsh. It lasts a long time as well. I only need to wash my hair 2-3 times a week, and after 3 months, I'm not quite halfway through this bar. Great hair and huge savings compared to traditional shampoo and conditioners. Plus, no plastic waste. Win, win, win!

Excellent but....
My first bar of this rice water shampoo was fantastic. Lasted almost six months and did a great job. It lathers well and almost feels like regular shampoo. Rinses out well too. This second bar has issues: It keeps breaking off and is hard, like it is evaporated/condensed, or it is old. It is also drying my hair out just a bit more than the first bar. When I try to use the broken pieces they get caught in my hair and it doesn't work well. So, I'm currently using 1/2 a half bar that is shedding. My first bar kept it's shape until the end and that was so nice as it is curved and rubs well on my hair and scalp to get the lather going. I'm praying that my third bar will be back to 'normal'.

WONDERFUL
IF YOUR HAIR GETS DRY FROM USING THE BAR YOU’RE PUTTING TOO MUCH OF IT IN YOUR HAIR! A little goes a long way.We all know that European hair type: extremely fine hair strands and a lot of hair. It looks oily fast even when I just washed it, it gets super frizzy and dry at the ends, it’s always messy. Forget styling it because it just does what it wants. I also have thyroid issues so my hair goes though major fall out phases and can be brittle and break. Agh!I had a hard time finding something that works for my hair. I found shampoo bars. I went to my local Natural Grocers to see what they had and I started with the least expensive shampoo bar they had. A J.R. Ligotts Original Shampoo Bar. It was fantastic but I wanted to try something else. One day a commercial comes on my YouTube for Viori Shampoo bars. So I looked for it on Amazon and it was expensive and you didn’t get very much for your money. I saw this bar a few places down. I love it and have loved it since first was. I got my boyfriend to start using as well. I have had some pretty amazing hair growth from this bar. I am able to go four days without washing my hair and the texture and balance of my hair is wonderful. My curls are defined. My hair is beautiful.I wet my hair, I don’t directly put the shampoo bar on my head, I simply rub my hands on it after wetting it and use as little as possible. I just rub my shampoo covered hands all over my hair. I just make sure it feels slippery. It doesn’t foam up like it would with commercial shampoo. I scrub my scalp thoroughly, rinse super well, and I put a little oil in the ends after I get out of the shower. This bar works so well for me and I hope it works well for you too!The scent is light and pleasant, it is great for moisturizing, and you get great value for your money.

Crumbling bar
The bar gave a good, soft shampooing, but after a couple of weeks the bar started crumbling into pieces.

First use = Impressed!
Hair background: I have thick, wavy, above shoulder length hair. It tends to frizz even when very healthy, but the length has been lightened/bleached about 3-6 months back and as a result frizzes easier/tends to be dry. I typically air dry my hair, and rarely use heat products. My hair does not get greasy quickly/easily and as such I tend to wash it only twice a week or less if I have nowhere to be.I used this for the first time today and overall I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve been wanting to try a bar shampoo for awhile, but wasn’t sure how well I’d like the experience of it or how it would leave my hair feeling after use, as I’ve been burned by overhyped hair products before. I found this item on sale for Cyber Monday and decided now was the time to try it. I started by delicately parting my hair after it was completely wet and rubbing the bar directly on the part/scalp, this left a good amount of product behind that I slowly worked into my hair by massaging. I could have stopped here, as I didn’t NEED more product after applying this way, but I wanted to see how well it would lather if needed. Simply rubbing the bar between my hands a bit quickly and easily worked up a good lather, so if that is important to you, you don’t have to lose that with this bar. I didn’t need a separate item such as a pouch or cloth accessory to create a lather. I definitely felt this cleaned my hair well and provided the same experience as normal liquid shampoo from a bottle.I will say I was skeptical that this bar would work as a conditioner as well as a shampoo, and right now I remain skeptical. Though my hair felt nice after I rinsed the product out, as my hair air dried the length definitely felt drier than it typically does when I use my standard conditioner. I needed to apply more leave in conditioner product and oil to the lengths than I would normally apply after a wash to make up for it.Overall: I like this as a shampoo and have every intention of continuing to use it, but I don’t think it’s a great substitute for conditioner. It might be my color treated hair ultimately causing the issue, but it left my ends feeling much to dry for my liking, and thus I can’t say it’s a great 2-in-1.This review is after only one use, so of course things could change. If my opinion changes after continued use, I’ll be sure to update my review.
