FOR THE MONEY, AN AWESOME BACKPACK!
I've been looking for a relatively small backpack that I could use every day to haul various things back and forth to work. I have a Spec Ops brand backpack that is without question the best of the best, but it's larger than I want and need for my current purpose.I read reviews that people leave for products, but I don't always believe everything I read. Nonetheless, during my search for a pack, I came across the 511 Tactical Rush 12 2.0 pack. It had a lot of excellent reviews and the features seemed ideal for my purposes, and it was of a smaller size. I ordered the kangaroo-colored version, and I am extremely pleased with this purchase. The color is darker than the photograph. but that's okay because it looks great.First, and this is very important to me, it was not made in a Communist country, which I avoid like the plague whenever possible. It was made in Cambodia, and they are a constitutional republic. They were communist from 1970 until 1993 under the Khmer Rouge, but they were ousted in '93.The workmanship and quality of this pack appears to be extremely nice in all respects. The material seems heavy duty, as do the zippers, stitching, etc. This guy has a lot of pockets and pouches of various configurations, and I love the hidden concealed carry pouch. It's easy to access and holds my Glock 22 with room to spare. It will even effectively conceal a government model 1911. This pack has more than enough room to get me through the day. I don't carry a laptop, so I don't know how well one would fit, considering that there are different sizes. Visually, however, it appears that it should work just fine with most laptops.I determine the value of products by comparing their quality and practicality to their cost. In this case, I am confident that this pack is a tremendous bargain. I am extremely pleased with this purchase and would gladly buy it again. My cat loves to sleep on this pack, he approves as well!God bless America and our troops!

Very comfortable, good weight distribution
This beefy pack is great! Lots of room, well thought out pockets, quality materials, and a very comfortable strap and harness system. My only complaint is that there is no small exterior pouch or pocket to stuff in small items, like gloves, a hat, etc. The molle straps provide almost unlimited options for securing small add-on pockets, etc. I used some paracord to use to secure a jacket so it is easily stowed and retrieved, and it works really well. This pack does scream tactical, but that is sort of the point with this pack, and it is very, very useful. I also like the kangaroo color, as it doesn't show dirt. Very satisfied.

Love 5.11 bags
And this is no exception. I already had one of these as a small go bag but bought another and this is now my 5th 5.11 bag - this one I use mostly for work/travel. I do a lot of driving and overnight stays for work. I carry a laptop, tablet, charger, and then some stationary and pens/pencils with me everywhere, sometimes I will also have a portable display. I can carry all my work items plus an overnight kit in this no problem - anything more than one night and I'd have to carry another bag for that stuff. The added CCW space is a good touch as well. Good, solid webbing makes adding small pouches easy. This backpack holds all that very well and also works as a personal item for flying as it fits under the seat very easily. The laptop sleeve is very well padded and secure, but just be mindful - you can't put a huge laptop in it. My laptop is 14 in x 9.25 in and about 0.50 inch thick - and it maxes out the space. Anything bigger would just about not fit. Other than that, absolutely love this backpack.

A Great Backpack
Great quality and plenty of pockets and connection points to use. The material is really strong and well seamed. Looks and feels sturdy without being super bulky. I’m 5’2” and 100 lbs and didn’t want one that was obnoxiously big. I love it and it holds everything I need.

Checks all the boxes
I got this for a range bag. For this it checks all of the boxes. Not too big, very sturdy, and with PALS, I can add extra storage on it (I currently have side pouches that I put oft used range items in, like my earpro and range holsters). The hook and loop patch on the center is nice for my organization's emblem, and my custom name tape goes on the top strip nicely.I have noted that with a full load, the hydration pouch might be a bit too cramped, but I have not put a bladder into it as my spare 3L one was much too long. It looks like a 2L should fit. The removable stay panel is nice (and thick/sturdy), but mine is "staying" in, for now as it sits up on a surface with the panel in.I didn't buy a waist belt, but I noted that it has attachment points in place for that future addition. This bag may be just for the range for me, but it could easily be a serious day hike pack, with emergency provisions. I doubt you would be able to carry enough gear in or on it for a full camping load out, unless you are a serious minimalist and do not need to carry much water.Overall, a quality pack that I am sure will serve my needs for a long time.Quality materials: heavy duty nylon, zippers, straps, PALS/MOLLE, and carry handle. Everything feels rugged and durable.I didn't put a laptop into it, as I don't use one at the range, but there is a slot pocket for it in the back, well padded for that purpose.

Durable, heavy duty, one small issue (for big guys)
It’s a really well built and easily organized pack. The material feels very durable and it’s comfortable for me. I loaded it to about 25 pounds and I feel like I could go for a long hike with it without an issue. If I had one complaint it would be that the padded part on the straps is not long enough for me to use the chest strap or the Molle. I had to clip off the plastic holding the chest straps and attach them lower with heavy duty key rings. I am 6’4” and have wider than average shoulders so I have to lengthen the straps to get the pack to rest on my lower back where it’s most comfortable. Most normal sized people will probably not have this issue though.
