The exhaust arrived sooner than expected, super easy to install. My truck is an AZ truck so no rust, I do not understand why people say they are the wrong clamps. I used a 3/8 impact and no problems at all. Sounds great at idle and while accelerating, no drone at all. Definitely worth the money. Stock exhaust must weigh 30 lbs, this one is light and clean.

The media could not be loaded. This muffler is the absolute best for the money you can get, compared to paying 400 for a big name brand one. This exhaust sounds fantastic and is so fun to listen to driving around. It is a little louder than I anticipated but I’m not complaining and the video that I posted does this no justice to how deep/ loud/ sweet this exhaust sounds. You WILL turn heads in town, you WILL P-off LIBROLS! There’s a little bit of drone in the cab but it’s not too overwhelming. Taking the old muffler out was a complete pain and I regret not paying someone to do this now but I got it done with a lot of cussin and elbow grease. The packaging was good, everything was there and was wrapped up nicely, the clamps seemed to work fine if you crank them tight and make sure to double check them for tightness a day or two later bc of the heat and cooling. All in all if you want your truck to be loud and sound great, order this muffler right now! You won’t regret it.

It’s hollow.It sounds nice after the engine warms up.Cold Start up is LOUD.It does drone.Engine set up is: ported intake manifold, ported heads, No tune required, no spring required MDS active camshaft. 2015 1500 5.7l.

My husband bought this for his 2016 ram 1500 4x4 and he loves it. The sound is amazing. It bolted right on after the removal of the stock muffler. We couldn’t be more happy with our purchase! If you’re on the fence about it don’t hesitate just buy it. You won’t regret it!

Now that’s what a HEMI should sound like. Put this direct for muffler on my 2017 ram 1500 sport with dual exhaust.The truck sounds great now and the install was super easy. After I muscled the old stock muffler off the new muffler was a direct fit and just needed to be clamped on.The company did send one wrong clamp but refunded me $5.00 the very next day. I was able to buy a proper fitting clamp at auto store.Quality seems good and great value for money. So glad I went with this aggressive sounding exhaust.

I don't normally write reviews but this thing was worth every penny! The volume and tone was exactly what I wanted and installing it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Naturally, like most of the other reviews, I agree that getting the old muffle off was the hardest part but overall it was the easiest exhaust job I've done on any of my vehicles.

This replacement muffler will let you hear everything going on with your Hemi. My 5.7 Hemi truck exhaust system is completely stock except for this new muffler. The combination of an intake and this muffler in the exhaust makes for a very nice sounding unit. There is some drone when MDS(Eco mode)kicks in. I never knew what the MDS exhaust note sounded like until I installed this muffler. Coming from a completely catless 3” on an over boosted Subaru, this Ram drone is minimal.I think the online videos of Carven brand mufflers give the best explanation of the exhaust sounds. Basically, you can carry on a conversation with out raising your voice at cruising and highway speeds. Accelerating is where this thing sounds amazing. It may be too loud for some people’s neighbors if you work off hours in a residential neighborhood. I’m guessing if I had neighbors, they’d probably know what time I left for work each morning.The install was pretty straight forward. Knock off the rust from the truck and cut the factory clamps. First remove the rear, twin pipes if you can. I had to cut the factory muffler in order to remove it. I was able to get the front loose with lots of persuasion from a hammer. Simply install the new muffler, check tip alignment and tighten things down. My tips were even at the back. The only issue noted was I received the wrong rear clamps. I received some gorgeous 2 1/2” clamps that are to big to use on this application. The front 3” clamp worked great. Fortunately, I did have some 2 1/4” clamps in garage so I didn’t have to delay the installation.My recommendation is to purchase some 2 1/4” clamps separately if you want to install this muffler on you Ram.

Pretty decent Carven knock-off or copy by Northeastern Exhaust. I finally got it installed yesterday. Sounds great. Haven't driven it yet so don't know how the in cab sound and drone will be. Tried to load a video but it not working. This is essentially a Carven Competitor direct fit exhaust system. The Competitor uses the R series muffler. It is slightly louder or more aggressive than the Progressive which uses the TR series muffler. I'm pretty happy with it. They did get the correct clamps included.
